I really like this mic. I've got a soprano that can literally overdrive a standard microphone but this Bate 87 appears to handle her voice with clarity. I would recommend this mic to anyone. 5 |

I use this fine product as insurance that I will not overdrive a mic input with the line out or phones out from my recorder. It turns out to be the most versatile Direct Box that I have. It is really a prize possession of which I have to have 2 more. I haven't found anything it doesn't do, out or in. 5 |

Perfect size, just enough distortion and overdrive to practice anything you need to and still has good clarity, Sounds great through headphones, Takes 2 1/2 hours to charge from low battery, then lasts 18 hours. I haven't clocked how many hours I get yet but even half of that to me is great. All in all, I'm Very satisfied with the purchase and impressed B&H were the first ones to have it and ship it immediately. 5 |

Easy to get classic overdrive and muddy modern tones. Somewhat lead tones can be achieved by pushing mids with a tube overdrive pedal or eq. Great pedal overall. 5 |

I use it for vocal. Great vintech sound. Well built. If you overdrive the input (70db and more) it starts to distort. 5 |
