Monitor Vertical Lines Repair

Well they didnt lie when they said zero distortion. Vertical lines stay vertical. The only issue of sorts is heavy vignetting but I find it easy to clear up. Well worth the money.

If you're of the mind to produce creative images, the concept of vertical and horizontal lines sometimes has to go out the window. The Tokina lens does just that. I wanted something that gave 180 degrees of view, but was wider that my Sigma 16mm f2.8. I tested the lens this morning right after UPS delivered it. I then took the test images, loading them into Photoshop Elements v14, and examined them at 100%. I expected curvi-linear lines, and got them in spades. Light came from directly behind, and the colors were well saturated, but not overly so. It's being used on a D500, and focus was near instantaneous. This is not a $2K fisheye, and I'm not expecting that type of performance, but it does perform above its price point. It's light, and will compliment my lens battery perfectly. Well done, Tokina

I love this for my on camera cable.. I have server lines out of the camera. I love this one for my on board monitor. I can adjust the monitor in an infinite of ways without the cable clutter you'd expect. Love it...

I use the KVM in a computer repair business, it allows me to have just one monitor and keyboard/mouse and work on multiple computer at once. It has good connections and the cable setup is great.

I had to send my Ninja 5 in for repair, so I ordered one of these to try out possible for my 2nd camera. I'm not sure I'm going back to my Ninja 5 after it gets back. I've used it with my iPhone 12 as well as iPad Pro and it's fantastic. Now I don't record to it as I need my video to be 4k 10bit, but I do use it as a monitor and it's fantastic. I use it as a monitor only, and for that alone its worth every penny!

I've had my monitor approx 2 1/2 years and the SDI Input stopped working. DF were fantastic, my unit was out of warranty & I'd modified the power supply but they were happy to repair it at no cost at all (bar shipping). The repair should've been $53 but they waved it due to the pandemic. I can't recommend them enough, service & updates were brilliant. I work in OB's & I'd be lost without it. This unit get worked hard & is incredible value for money. You won't see the Eye option on anything else in the market apart from a Phabrix which 4 times the price. Buy one, it's a no brainer.

As I mentioned before in my review, the monitor stopped working. I spoke with ATOMOS and their team and sent it out for repair. Their customer service was impeccable . They eye was on the ball at all times. The respective repairs were done , respecting their time limit of almost a week, which was a decent wait. I have not written before to change my review , because after I received the monitor I went out to the field to test it. Have been shooting for over a month with it and it has not presented any problems at all. All respective flaws were fixed. Their Customer service is impeccable . Unfortunately ... yes If you are outside the US , any repair will take time.

this monitor is bananas. great colors for a VA. no flickering. no dead pixels. no lines like the G8 is flawed with. HDR is legit. the curve doesnt take much getting used to if you already use a 1500 or 1800R monitor. hits 165hz ezpz. AAA titles look amazing.
