I just recently started to study film at college. It quickly became apparent that to get ahead and advance I would have to get better equipment. So after study, I decided on the G7. It has been about a month and a half since my purchase I am a very pleased. The 4K is something that really caught my eye. The kit lens is great to start with, but I will be upgrading. A favorite feature are the two dials that adjust the Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, and White Balance quickly and precisely. I only have two complaints: 1. the lack of weather sealing, and 2. the size and resolution of the LCD viewfinder screen (makes finding manual focus precisely, difficult). Overall, I love it. The internal auto focus is quick and sharp, the interface is intuitive, and the image quality is fantastic!

Our students use this tripod shooting football and basketball games. This tripod is rugged enough to survive college students.

Bought these light for college students to use for their projects and paying client work about a year ago. They are very durable. College students can destroy equipment very fast. These lights are holding up great. They are powerful and the adjustable color makes these lights useful in many situations. Being able to use a smart phone to control up to 6 of these lights on a set has proven to be very valuable. We also purchased soft boxes that we include in the travel case. The lights are more expensive than other lighting options but being able to have a fixture that is focusable, powerful and multi color makes them a great option. Only concern is; the power cable is very thin. Hope we don't have to replace them.

I am a college students and I work a lot with video. I got this harddrive to pack up my video files and carry them with me whereever and whenever. I love this size and weight of this harddrive and modifying it to work on PCs and Macs was very easy, just a click of the button. I only wish I knew in advance how small it would be. I was prepared for something bulky and large but that does not describe this device at all. All in all I am very satisfied with this. Also, just in case anyone was wondering when you make the harddrive PC and Mac compatible there is no limit the amount of space and PC or Mac specific file can fit into. It's not split 50/50 which for me is awesome!

This is a great gift idea for new college students because it will ensure their electronics are safe from unstable power supplies and the long length gives flexibility in arranging dorm furniture.
