I've been using Hosa cables for years and I think they're just as good as Monster Cables at a fraction of the cost. In fact, I actually like the Hosa mic cables better because the end connectors will slide through a mic clip. (Monster ends are too fat to slide through a mic clip; you have to press the mic against the clip and force it through, and force it out to remove. It's very inconvenient and it eventually breaks mic clips). The best thing about Hosa is their lifetime warrantee. If any Hosa cable every shorts out, and ALL cables will eventually short out, you call them up and get an RA number, send them the bad cable, and you'll receive a brand new replacement cable right away. I am a student just getting into the pro realm of doing audio, and I must say that I own Mogami and Monster cables, and these Audio Technica's are every bit of quality in a cable.

I'm using these cables on a project debut carbon. Before the mogamis I was using monster 400i cables but they produced a sound that was on the bright side to my ears. The mogamis sound more balanced, the music sounds more natural. I then switched all my monster cables to Mogami cables and am very happy with ther natural sound not colored sound replicate.

Prior to purchasing these cables, I was using 12 gauge Monster cable, which were adequate. After installing the Canare 4S11 cables, I was able hear an immediate difference in sound quality, clarity, highs and smooth lows. These cables are flexible and the locking banana plugs are fabulous.
