Monster Bluetooth Audio Adapter
OrlandoB | 2024-05-16 03:56:13 |
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little Bluetooth adapter to connect to my audio system. Although my receiver has built-in Bluetooth, it is very finicky to connect to. This unit solved the problem. I like that it has an optical cable connector to make the connection to my receiver. 5 |

The Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter works right out of the box. It comes with a power supply , a mini-stereo to RCA cord. In my case I connected to the Aux-Input on an old Sony receiver. I paired it to my iPhone 4s and my macbook pro with no trouble. My daughter's macbook pro paired up right away but she tried to stream her iTunes and it would not go. However, her Spotify went fine. The range seemed acceptable. There were some artifacts (like digital hiccups) but I am not sure it was the device or the laptop. 5 |

I am a student just getting into the pro realm of doing audio, and I must say that I own Mogami and Monster cables, and these Audio Technica's are every bit of quality in a cable. 5 |

First off, it is an adapter. It's not perfect and will not perform as well as native Sony glass. Having said that, it is working remarkably well with my Sony bodies (Sony A1 and AR3) and adapted lenses (Nikon 300mm f/2.8 VR II and Nikon 300mm f/4 PF). It is performing slightly better on the A1, which is to be expected, but even on the A7R3 the AF is quick and accurate and VR works well. Again, not Sony native glass quick but certainly useable. I had (still have but retired it) the Commlite Pro adapter and consoled myself with that one to just shooting static subjects, with plenty of manual focus tuning to get close to subject focus before letting the AF handle things. With the new Monster adapter paired with the A1 and 300mm f/2.8 it tracks very well when locked on and has a decent hit rate. The 300mm f/4 PF is not bad at all, tracks well but just isn't as quick focusing as the f/2.8. It's just so small, sharp, and lightweight that this adapter is breathing new life into two of my favorite lenses from my Nikon days. The adapter is well made and really like being able to remove the tripod mount. It works with teleconverters (Nikon 2X Version III, Nikon 1.4X Version III, and the Tamron 1.4X APO) Surprisingly, the Tamron (which reads the aperture the same as though no TC is attached...I believe it did the same on my old Nikons...D3, D3S, D4S) focus faster and better than the Nikon 1.4X and 2X and is nearly identical in sharpness but with more vignetting and color fringing. All in all, this little Monster was a great purchase and has met my needs for an adapter...for my particular Nikon lenses to my particular Sony bodies. Mileage will likely vary on different lens/camera combos. I'm giving this one 5 Stars because...for an adapter trying to translate Nikon's complex algorithmic language to a Sony body...this one does one heck of a job! Nice job Monster. Good Monster!!-) 5 |

I use the Aluratek ABC02F Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter connected to the Optical Audio output on my Sony TV. It pairs with a set of Sony Bluetooth earbuds to provide a separate channel for audio for my aging ears while the TV's audio continues to function independently for the rest of the family. The optical connection to the TV was simple and the ABC02F paired quickly and easily to the Sony Earbuds. The ABC02F is plugged into a USB port on the TV and is always on so the earbuds are reconnected within the time it takes to remove them from their charger/case and insert them into the ear. 5 |

I have always had great luck with and have been very satisfied with Logitech products. This Bluetooth Audio Adapter was very easy to set up and allowed me to choose multiple audio connections - depending on the device you want to connect to (RCA or 3.5mm connections). I would recommend this device to anyone wanting to upgrade an older audio system or speakers to Bluetooth connectivity. 5 |

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient. 5 |
