This surge protector is well made and protects valuable electronics from surges while giving multiple power outlets. I think the feature that stands out with this device the most is the usb-c pd delivery port. If you have a proper usb-c cable you can power your device at a faster rate with this pd port. I think that having a surge protector is a must at every outlet, especially if you live in an area prone to power outages or storms. This surge protector outlet gives you 6 outlets + two usb-a and one usb-c outlet. The usb-c outlet has a PD (power delivery) of 20 watts which is a good amount of power to power devices. Another great feature to this surge protector is that it has two dedicated light indicators. One to indicate that the surge protector is on and one to show the the device's surge feature is active. Our IT guy at work recommended APC as THE surge protector to buy. I've been a Monster Cable guy for some time but took his advice for my new high end stereo and was immediately impressed by the APC unit. It protects anything that you could hook up to a mega sound system including your cable and Ethernet. Very well constructed and sleek black color is easy to stow behind the gear to go unnoticed. I strongly recommend.

This time I have installed my third battery into S20BLK AV surge protector and battery backup, this is after the first time several years went by and the battery was just time to change. I was new to all of this i thought it was the end of the world; i have around 100,000.00 worth of Hight end audio and video equipment in this one of three racks that is my AMX home automation system intalled inh 2005. the next two battery replacements where after major electrical storms and lightining strikes. Fried the battery and the equipment is perfectly safe. I am about to order my fourth battery because it happended again with the lightening in New York this week. This time they all went i had on hand replacement batteries in waiting. I put them in and I was up and running again. You cannot kill these systems and they are worth the investment. If you need clean power and surge protection for any kind of AV equipment, look no further. It's most at home in a home theatre environment or area where it won't be moved around as it is LARGE. Has plenty of room for most plugs and AC adaptors. Not using the cable or computer hookups, but it is nice to have. I've used Furman equipment on live gigs for years and they are reliable and can take a beating. This unit is right up there with the best and looks good to boot.

The APC P8VNTG Power Saving Surge Protector is a great product, potentially impacted by inferior quality. The product itself is attractive, well, as attractive as a power strip can really be. The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting.

This Surge Protector is the perfect size for behind my TV. I love that it has an outlet on top and botton for my bigger plugs and also the end outlet can accommodate a bigger longer plug as well. The last surge protector I had did not have them and my bigger plugs would cover up multiple oulets. I love that it has a small green power light and a small red grounded light so that you know it is working. If you need a 7 outlet surge protector look no further.
