Monster Outlet Internet Extender

This extender turns my 300mm lens into a 1200mm (35mm equivalent) monster.

Great Extender. Allows me to have internet upstairs without running any cables.

The TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter is a little jewel for extending a wired Internet connection. Simply plug one unit into an AC wall outlet near a router and the other unit into an AC wall outlet in the area where one wants a wired Internet connection. Then, connect the unit by the router to the router with an Ethernet cable. Next, connect the other Powerline adapter to the device, e.g. computer, with another Ethernet cable. Now, one has a wired connection to the router. It works seamlessly by using the electrical wiring in one's building.

I have PL1200. Bought and installed PLP2000 with outlet passthrough. Compared internet speed. PL1200 = 64 mbps. PLP2000 = 74 mbps. Speed different based upon browser, but always 10%-15% faster with PLP2000. I have 4 PL1200's, but I'm thinking of adding 2 more PLP2000's and eliminating the PL1200's. The PLP2000's work great. Both PL1200 & PLP2000 considerably faster than Wi-Fi, and I feel more secure, sine there is no outside transmission. The network is through my electrical wiring in my house. I would highly recommend.

I bought the Nighthawk router and it has been my best internet investment. I've had problems with my old router just thinking I needed to buy a wifi extender. I bought another wifi extender again believing hat was the issue but finally got this Nighthawk router. It works so well in my 2000 square feet apartment that I don't even need the extenders. You won't be sorry for buying this! It's affordable and works so well!

With a basement router location I couldn't get internet in the living room or on the back porch, both of which are on slabs. Set-up was straightforward and finding a suitable location was a bit like Goldilocks but only took an extra few minutes. This extender now lets us enjoy internet and tv viewing in places we would like to spend more time. The only fault I have is the size and brightness of the lights, which assists set up hughly makes the extender a bit too obvious unless the selected remote electrical outlet is readily accessible and otherwise easily obscured.

Just one caution. If there's a power failure, you must unplug and replug both the adapter and extender to again establish Internet connection. It's not necessary to reenter the password.

I lost the original cap for the RF 1.4 Extender and after searching the internet for an original replacement I found this one of the B&H website and even though I am in England I ordered it and it was delivered within a week which is fantastic service. This is a genuine Canon replacement

I needed internet in a separate structure . The extender is at least 100 feet from the modem/router separated by two exterior walls, the signal that was half strength at that location is now 100%. I have a full signal 60 ft away in the back of structure. I noticed the other day when walking behind structure probably 200 ft from extender my phone still had at least half strength signal. I couldn't find a better price and delivery was quick.
