Moon In My Room

I like it do much! I see the moon!!!!!!

Finally got this big boy out after sitting in the room for two weeks, been cloudy and rainy for so long. Was fading to dark about 5:00pm when I got home and the sky was clear and the three quarter moon was bright. Haven't had a chance to align scope yet so used hand controller to look at moon. First views were very impressive, haven't seen the moon thru a telescope for about forty years. The clarity of this scope seems pretty impressive. Forgot how fast the moon and starts move out of view. Tried my new cell phone adapter as well that night and those pictures aren't bad for the first time, will be trying my camera next. You certainly will need a very still platform and no movement when looking thru these scopes. I ordered a cover for this to use when viewing, it was in the low forties and the tube was getting very cold. Looking at possibly ordering the pads to put the feet on to help with vibrations. So far scope seems very nice and well built, can't wait for warmer and clearer nights to come. -Bill-

This is my second Canon RC-6 remote. I use my remote on my Canon 60D to do moon photography. My first one lasted about 6 years before it stopped working. I would recommend this remote to anyone who has a compatible camera.

This thing is amazing. My girlfriend had an old, cheaper, telescope that she loved watching the moon with. When I saw a video of this thing in action I had to get it for her. We truly are pleased with the purchase and B&H was crazy fast with shipping.

My two kids easily hopped from Saturn to Jupiter and then to the Moon using manual controllers at their first attempt. We love Telrad.

This lens is perfect for many things, my preference is wildlife. The moon was an awesome subject for the night. My favorite lens!!

My first shots with this lens were handheld moon photos. The detail is amazing, my family was asking where I found those moon shots and they were surprised when I told them I took them. I have also been shooting wildlife and I am very impressed with the speed to focus, but more so the silence of the motor. If you did not see the image change you may not know it has focused. I was surprised by the size and weight of this lens, it is rather heavy. Thankfully Pentax included the tripod mount attachment to better balance the load.

IT TAKES PICTURES OF MY SHOES WHEN IM LOOKING AT THE MOON, but seriously awesome lens, would recommend to anyone who is serious about photography.

This is a really good eyepiece. My view of Jupiter and a half full moon were wow. The adjustable eye relief feature is very helpful. I'm looking to buy another focal length to fill out my collection.

The sound is awesome; when she is talking to me through it the sound is crisp and clear. I love that you can change colors and do voiceovers. A definite must for gamers! It’s compatible with most of her gaming products which was a plus!
