We were looking for a mic that would work with vocals and instruments for Old Time and Bluegrass bands. This mic is better than we dreamed. Easy to balence. Works great with our small mixer. Great price, great product!

Most of my caps are the slip-on type that's more common in large-format stuff, but I got these for some of my vintage Nikkors. I use a combination of a custom step up ring from SK Grimes and a B+W filter then I cap them with these caps. These look very slick, and they work well. I've tried some of the cheaper more generic brands, and these Nikon caps have smoother edges, have less wiggle, fit more flush, and have small details like the fact that the pinch flats taper outwards slightly so your fingers don't slip off the caps when you pick them up or remove them that make them so much better to use if you're busy and have things to do. Many vintage rangefinders have cloth shutters, so you can just cover the lenses with this to protect them when you're out and around.

Step-up rings are a common tool for fitting lenses and filters of different sizes. Most any will do, but some are better than others. Good thread fit is essential, but that's usually achieved. What the PRO Sensei rings add is a slight knurl-like grip which can be a help when unscrewing sticky filters. (Hint: don't over tighten them in the first place!)

I use this recorder to record rock bands and small classical ensembles in their rehearsal space. It is so small and compact I can put it in my pocket and so idiot proof and user friendly the setup time is only a few minutes. I clean up the recordings by simply putting the sim card in my computer with cubase to do some overdubs as well. The final product is a professional CD the musicians thought was out of reach. I also use it to record my guitar and vocal ideas. I may overdub some percussion - and the sketch work can always be used as final takes if desirable. The sound is pristine. It's a great field recorder as well for film production which I also dabble in. It is as good as it gets. Zoom !!!

Most excellent tripod adaptor. Very solid, like a rock. No bending or flexing. Used it with a 16x70 Fujinon binoculars, it is perfect.
