Most Expensive Professional Digital Camera

Most professional photographers know this already, use a UV filter to protect the expensive glass you have taking the images. I use Tiffen filters because of the consistant quality.

The photos look like a professional photographer took the pictures with a very expensive camera.

Most small digital cameras come with flimsy wrist straps. The security of such straps leaves much to be desired! With this strap the camera is very secure. Additionally, it much more convenient to carry the camera with the strap around the neck.

I reluctantly sold my Canon XH-A1 camcorder as I no longer am filming professional quality. Yet I wanted an HD camera. Upon discovery of the Canon Vixia HF200 I was impressed with the features - and bought one. Most shocking was the small size (am used ot the larger Sony and Canon camcorders). But what a convenience! I now take it with me everywhere - without the large camera bag and accessories. Most importantly, the picture/video quality is outstanding. The features such as headphone jack and external mic were typically found only on professional cameras - features that are a 'must' if you want good sound.Editing AVCHD is tricky. My Adobe Premiere CS3 does not process AVCHD; I used Roxio (Creator 2010) to edit and create a short film. I also used Roxio 2010 to convert it to WMV, but the software stumbled/froze and gave me fits. It did ultimately work, though.I plan to purchase Adobe Premiere Elements 8 to edit in the future. Thanks to many other reviewers for their comments; those were valuable in helping me select the Canon HF200. ...

I owned a Nikon D810 camera and have several professional lenses which I very much like. Most are auto focus, which this lens isnt. However, focusing is quite easy and smooth and holding this lens in your hand one can tell it is well-constructed and balanced. I have not yet used this lens outside but used over Thanksgiving to take family photos inside the house. The photos are crisp and the colors are clean and vivid, indicating clearly superior optics. For the applications intended for (landscaping and still images), this is an excellent lens and I am glad I bought it.

The Black and White Mode is the first real film look i have found in any professional digital camera paired with the metal body, size and overall rangefinder design with the addition of the mode dial have all restored the digital camera back into the long historical evolution of the street photographer's camera.

While digital technologies continue to be perfected with professional camera use and their widespread applications, the latest Sony RX1RII fixed Zeiss lens camera (other cameras allow long-lens variants) exceeds expectations, especially when printing work on a large scale (with the Epson Stylus Pro 9900). While some relatively minor imperfections exist as with all cameras that professionals adjust to, the expansive quality of color, remarkable low-light resolution, extraordinary image quality and virtual unlimited visual potentials provide challenges that move into unchartered territory for artists (see attached site-specific photographic installation of 112x152cm prints). The most problematic issue is not Sony's: Adobe Photoshop has abandoned the long supporting professional community by not making a plug-in for this camera's RAW files (ARW in Sony terms). Two alternatives: 1) join the CC monthly feed of Adobe Photoshop (APS), abandoning the experienced professional use of all former Photoshop versions, or 2) for 99$ purchase the most basic APS Elements software that notes the Sony RX1RII RAW files are supported, at least noted in Elements literature. What a way to treat loyal professionals and Sony over the years, claiming that CC is better without meaningful details justifying the obvious money first, customer second policy for purchasing the CC version. Not mentioning inevitable future rises in CC prices, non-copyright protections in-Cloud, and not allowing printing in your studio with your own APS, even when CC RAW is tiff converted. Sony's RX1RII with Zeiss lens and its internal digital processor chip is remarkable for what the eye can see (numerous professional digital cameras now exceed what can be seen without mention), even with the rare if not unprecedented 600$ additional cost recently by Sony.
