Most Portable Over Ear Headphones

THE MOST COMFORTABLE, BEST SOUNDING HEADPHONES I HAVE YET TO PUT OVER MY EARS!

I am enjoying my Marshall Over-ear Monitor II A.N.C headphones. Lots O'padding, comfortable when I wear my glasses. The Noise cancelling feature is really awesome.

Over the ear headphones reduce ambient noise. Sound quality is very good for mono headphones.

I personally don’t get on with in-ear headphones. Over-ear seem too cumbersome as I use mine mainly on dog walks and need to carry them in my pocket sometimes. The Major IV seem to offer the best of both worlds. They are on-ear, yet deliver a really good sound. The design is simple and different to most other headphones available. The battery life is astonishing. I’ve had mine for two weeks now and still haven’t needed to charge them. Really, really pleased with them.

Over the years I have gone through many headphones almost all of which broke. The head band broke or one of the ear pieces broke off. These are extremely well made and virtually unbreakable. More importantly, it has superb sound able to pick up from the lowest frequency to the highest! The sound is very rich, full and clear. Love them!

I recently got my hands on the AKG K371 Over-Ear Oval Closed-Back Studio Headphones and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. The sound quality is outstanding, rivaling my higher-priced Sennheiser headphones. Most headphones that I have tried give me a pain in the ear after 30 minutes. These headphones are very comfortable due to the strap that sits on top of your head. It is spring loaded and acts like a shock absorber, distributing the weight across the top of your head nicely. The frequency response it great in all ranges.

I have tried many other portable speakers and always felt something missing. Having purchased over the ear headphones by MarshalI years ago “MAJOR” I decided to buy the Stockwell 2 speaker And Wow! The design quality, the overall feel to it. The carry handle & the Sound adjustments knobs all top notch. With all other speakers I heard noise and then sound, finally I can hear the Music! 5 stars :star:️ in my music book. Marshall you rock!!!

Great portable headphones. Incredibly comfortable, considering the on-ear design. They work great if you wear glasses. The sound is profile is great!

These are the best portable headphones for the money. I owned an original pair of these headphones dating back to the mid 80s and they lasted about 30 years. I finally had to replace them in 2014 after the left channel went out. Here's my tip on increasing the reliability, add a drop of super glue where the cable meets each ear piece and where the cable meets the jack. This will greatly reduce the chance of you breaking the cable if you accidentally pull on the cable too hard, which I've done numerous times. I've had my current pair for eight years and the only maintenance I do is to replace the foam ear cushions every so often as they tend to wear out over time.
