I got this motherboard for my first ever build, recently bought a new motherboard however I put the same motherboard in a new build I did for my mother's computer. I also bought another one of these motherboards for my nephew's first build.

Great motherboard. My first computer build in 10 years. Things have changed alot and this motherboard is definitely diy friendly. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to build a solid pc.

I built my last computer in like NOV-DEC of 2013. The motherboard was a ASUS ROG Maximus VI Hero (Intel-compatible). It has worked flawlessly all these years, and I couldn't ask for more. It still works. I decided it's time to upgrade because I wanted an ultrawide monitor. The last thing I wanted to do was have to tear all the components out and RMA a board, costing me HOURS of my life, all for saving $100 of a cheaper MB on the front end. So I opted for the once again flagship product from Asus and my expectations are high!
