Motherboard Update Via Internet

I have had a good experience with this motherboard. Bios update was easy enough, and it's been running great ever since.

So far I have had this working for a couple of weeks and I love it. I do have one.... lets call it public service announcement... Make sure you update these (in a lab if possible) BEFORE trying to set these up. There are some pretty significant things in their updates which includes product interoperability. So far every device I have purchased required and firmware update before they could communicate with their own backbone hardware. This isnt a significant problem its just a reminder to always update anything you get before your on location and dont have things like internet setup yet.... because after all... the internet IS most likely what your setting up in the first place. Guess why Im putting this in the review.....

This is a excellent motherboard! After initial BIOS update everything works perfectly. ASUS will be my goto boards in the future!

I ended up keeping this motherboard over the Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX. The install and bios update was smooth. My Corsair Vengeance RAM worked perfectly with the mobo. Definitely highly recommend for folks switching to the AM5 chipset.

Motherboard pairs perfectly with 5800X3D and 3080Ti without needing a bios update. Received it a few days earlier than expected.

I had originally purchased a different motherboard and CPU. However, the other motherboard required a bios update in order for it to be compatible with the CPU that was bundled with it. There was no way to update the BIOS on that motherboard without it being in an working system. This motherboard however can have the BIOS flashed with nothing but power connected to it. That made all the difference in the world to me, a novice builder who was working on his second build. I'm also impressed with the quality of the motherboard itself. Everything about it feels substantial. If I ever build another system, I'll likely look at MSI motherboards first.

A full-featured high-quality motherboard. I really like the ability to update firmware/bios out of band using a dedicated USB connector. The built-in VGA controller enables BIOS access independent of GPU presence. Lots of great documentation and reference build examples. Very easy to identify and purchase compatible custom-build components. Great choice for either workstation or head-less server scenarios. Solid Win11/Linux drivers and apps.

I needed to update our modem for a faster internet speed and wanted to stay with the same brand...Netgear. This modem was so easy to install and is running great. Even at 73 years old I can say it was much easier than I thought it would be.

After turning it on I had some dificulties trying to update it via the app. Be sure to have a stable and strong internet connection to pass this stage quickly. (You may require to turn the bluetooth on and restart the app after doing so) If you cant pair the camera with the app after the update, try changing the frequency from 5.0 to 2.4Ghz. After this little inconveniences just go record something. The camera is amazing and the menu very intuitive. Stabilization awesome!

This product helped solve my internet access problem that was caused by a Xfinity update to their grids. Moving from the Netgear AC1600 to the Nighthawk AC1900 has been great. No access issues with home or work computer.
