Motherboard With Video Card

This sound card is much better than the one built into the motherboard.

My Daughter purchased a new motherboard from B&H and after installing it the old video card wasn't compatible. She did some research and decided on this video card and she is thrilled with the purchase from B&H and the card itself.

Received as advertised. Works perfectly with my ASUS TUF motherboard and video card. Runs very cool even when gaming. Very quiet.

It's no exception, my custom pc has all Asus devices, motherboard, video graphic card and blu-ray burners/player. My recently purchase Asus video graphic card is fantastic. All of my pc games runs so smoothly. Asus products are well made.

Easy installation of both the card and the software - sound produced is much cleaner than sound produced by motherboard onboard sound.

I ordered this Allegro USB 3.1-C type card because my PC was damaged during a no-warning fire safety power shut-off back in October here in California which caused a surge straight through my APC backup/surge protector. This resulted in a damaged front audio and USB port unit through the main switch to my computer case which connects directly to the motherboard. Therefore all the USB ports on the front of the case and on the back I/O of the motherboard became non-functional. This card, attached to the motherboard, bypasses the USB-C port on the back so that I can temporarily use it for USB-C connections until a new USB/audio/switch unit arrives from Germany for my Be Quiet! 800 case. Fortunately, it is still under warranty, and Be Quiet! offered to replace the unit free of charge. However, the Allegro card only works in PCI-E 3.0 or higher slots. It will NOT fit in PCI-E 16 express (the interface is too wide). I tried it in a PCI-E 2.0 slot and it will not function in it at all. Be sure that you have the right configuration or it will not work. It has two USB-C ports. Therefore, with the right cables, I am also able to route it to a four-port hub for other USB input needs such as thumb drives. This adapter is similar in writing speed to the original USB-C port on the I/O from the motherboard. This, with a four port USB 3.0 card connected to the PCI-E express gives me enough latitude to plug in all of my peripherals until final repairs are made. When that happens I will use it in another older PC build which does not have USB-C capability. I have tried it in that PC and it works very well and fast.

Easy installation and works great. Only issue was I had to connect my old wireless card so the motherboard could add in the new wireless card that comes on the motherboard. Otherwise, flawless.

I had the Rog Strix B550 motherboard version that did not include wifi, so I bought the PCE-AX58BT wifi card 2 years ago and it is still working perfectly. Wifi always works smoothly, and the card has always performed solid for me.
