Motion Activated Cameras For Home

Where I live is out of a city with no way to get home internet bought and had my cell phone provider activated and now I have whole house internet and can use when I go camping

We have used many Spypoint cameras over the years and this has been one of the easiest and most reliable ones we have used. We literally activated it and set it in the field. It has worked flawlessly since day 1. The only accessory we added was the Plot Pod and a solar panel.

The view in clear and the camera will scan by itself when activated.

It was available at B&H at a price cheaper than the ... No problems at all getting it activated.

Used this to set up a home recording studio where I constantly have to reposition the mic. Was worried that this would have issue that I've seen other booms where the motion itself would cause a lot of audio back into the recording, but this one was surprisingly smooth and quiet. Additionally it had wire guides and velcro straps so that the mic line going over each of the joints was really easy to secure and not likely to get tangled or pulled during the motion. Very nice attention to detail. Only negative that I noticed was that the screw tensioner to hold the mic boom in a particular position, The silver knob right at the end next to the mic, this was difficult to tighten enough to keep the microphone locked into a particular position. But this was minor and with some adjustment, it's easy to keep the mic where you want it ... Overall, I'm very glad I purchased this.

You can allow the camera to track motion through its or create an activity field for motion alerts. 24/7 surveillance in your home may sound strange, but the camera can be set to automatically shut off when you arrive home so you don't feel like your privacy is being invaded - it can use WiFI and GPS to detect when a resident enters the home and will automatically turn off recording. Pretty cool, huh? The next time we go out of town, I know I am going to be feeling MUCH more at ease.

I use this to connect my Rhino motion to the canon cameras, its just the right length, could have the 9o elbow point down instead of out. this also connects my speed light to the camera too. Great product thx

For light cameras, this tripod is a no-brainer. Motion is very fluid, although ours took a little adjustment before we were satisfied. All adjustments are very easy to do, however, and require no tools. I have used heavier cameras with this tripod as well (15+ lbs) with no issue. You have to watch the balance of your camera, because it may want to tilt forward or back, but I have never been concerned about the stability of the tripod even if the camera is not properly balanced.

I use Tiffen protective & UV lenses on both my still & motion cameras, and I've never had a problem with them. They're durable & Tiffen is a great brand to stay loyal to.
