The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

Purchased based on Tivoli's reputation for it's sound as well and the desire of a radio. Bluetooth is a plus. Upon turning on the Tivoli, we were immediately blown away by it's crystal clear sound and aesthetic. If anything we were not expecting to use it nearly as much as we do now. It's worth every cent.

The sound of this box is like an audiophile driver in a small package. The warm tone of the real hardwood is unmistakable. And the Bluetooth sound nearly as fantastic as the analog radio reception. I hope Tivoli keeps the chassis and the analog radio going, and keeps up with digital formats as well. Keep selling this product.

I've been printing everything on Ilford's MGFB Classic paper since it was released--another excellent paper. After reading some promising reviews of Fomabrom, I thought to give it a try. Developed in LPD 1:3, Fomabrom renders slightly warm. It's a bit yellow, better than old MGFB, not as nice as untoned MGFBClassic. It sounds unappealing, but it's not. It's just not neutral. Toned for 5 minutes in 1:30 selenium, the paper quickly cools to neutral. A really pure neutral silver tone. It tones better than MGFB. If you like toning, you'll love this paper. Blacks are surprisingly deep, and the print becomes dimensional in a way I haven't seen before. The other distinctive characteristic of this paper is the way it handles highlight detail. High-key negatives are much easier to print than on MGFB. I'd say it has less contrast except that it prints at about the same grade as MGFB. Highlights are just easier to manage. The downside is that midtones have less separation than MGFB. MGFB just seems to pop more in the mids. It's an excellent paper to have on hand, especially for high-key negatives or images you intend to tone. Maybe more like the old Oriental variable-contrast paper than MGFB. At this time, the price also makes it an appealing general alternative to MGFB Classic.

We use these radio on a day to day basis in the fall around the grain setup. Safety and communication is key and the midland walkie talkies are perfect for around the grain setup. They are super durable as well. I have dropped them off a 40 foot bin before onto concrete and they still work great!
