Motorola Bubble Pack Radio

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

This is agreat way to pack your SLR lens. Previously I wraped my SLR lens in bubble wrap when traveling and not taking my camera bag. The LensCoat Pouch is made out of neoprene and protects my SLR Lens from nicks, scratches and from being banged around in my luggage. It also saves a lot of room.

I used the battery pouches from another company until one day I dropped one of the pouches with a battery inside and it cracked the side of the battery. A Leica battery. And you know those aren't cheap! What I found is that none of the battery pouches I've encountered actually afford protection from drops for your batteries. They're good for organization but not for protection. It's just a thin piece of fabric around your battery. I tried wrapping batteries in bubble pack but then they were too big for the pouches. The solution I found was these LensCoat DSLR 2+2 (2-Pack, Black) pouches. But it took some modification (which I hope doesn't invalidate my review). With the LensCoat battery pouches I gently undo the stitching holding the two battery compartments together in the middle thus leaving one large compartment. After doing that I can fit a Leica BP-SCL4 for the Leica SL2-S as well as all other batteries for Leica digital M's wrapped in at least two layers of bubble pack into the now single compartment and close it with the Velcro flap. (The same will work for Canon LPE6 as well as Sony NP-FZ100 batteries). I haven't actually tried dropping one on the floor, but I suspect it will stand a much better chance than the battery without any protection. Who knows, maybe this review will motivate some industrious entrepreneur to begin making battery pouches that not only help organize but also protect our expensive batteries!

My package came well wrapped and the pack of paper was extremely well protected with multiple sheets of bubble wrap. Very pleased - as always, B&H provides exceptional service.

Light, simple, and the bubble head is a plus. Already added to my pack. And incredible quality for the price!!

Great addition to my radios. I can pack my radio in my backpack, clip this mic on my shoulder strap, & communicate with my partner super easy. I highly recommend this product

I'm a wedding photographer and a battery pack for the formals is a must so that you don't have to wait for the flash to recharge. I bought 2 of these and used them at my last wedding and they worked just as advertised. They recharged in a couple of seconds for every shot during the formals and I also used them at the reception to pop a little light here and there during the dance. They seem well built to me and I was able to just slide them over the light stand and then mount the flash so attaching them to the stand was a breeze. One side note about the cord...... I use radio poppers and the power cord from the battery pack had a ridge on it that bumps into the radio popper bracket and forces the bracket out of alinement with the flash. I found that all I had to do to correct the problem was trim off the ridge from the cord with a razor blade and it fit perfectly! Only took a minute to trim off.
