Motorola Cls 4 Channel Radio

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks- 5 |

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit! 5 |

A must have to utilize the CLS capabilities of the Nikon D500. 5 |

Decided to get back into basic 2 channel stereo as my wave radio just couldn’t get it done. Took the plunge, picked up this receiver and two of the Sony 3 way bookshelf speakers. Wow the power and clarity from the Bluetooth streaming is amazing. Needless to say a CD player and a phono ( which each exceeded the price of the speakers and this receiver) were quickly added on. If your looking to get back into vinyl or just enjoy CDs or streaming to the Bluetooth you can’t go wrong with this receiver. 5 |

Bought to replace an OLD shelf system unit to use for simple radio play, and the 2 channel setup, especially with the phono preamp, was just what was needed for my record collection. Sound is great as expected from Sony, simple to set up and use. The added bonus of bluetooth connectivity is a wonderful addition 5 |

Purchased this little radio a few weeks ago very pleased with it. Really like the quick disconnect mount and the weather radio channel is neat. Parotid with a 6 DB gain Midland antenna and it talks and receives great. 5 |

I enjoy listening to the ESPN sports radio on my local over the air channel. It has the bluetooth feature which has a strong connection to my mobile devices for listening to music. Fantastic receiver! 5 |

I've been testing this little radio in an urban setting and have been able to communicate at 1 mile clearly between two units on the ground with houses everywhere around me. They are cool little radios. They feel tough and rugged. To get the full functionality you need the programming cable to make adjustments to settings and buttons and of course change frequencies to match other radios. Lots of settings to enable or disable like roger beep, emergency button, scan, squelch, etc. When you change the channel it says the channel name out loud over the speaker. It also tells you (out loud) when the batteries are low. These are business radios but I've taken them on a few hikes with friends. I'm getting way over a mile in the forest clearly. I'm sure you could easily go to 2 miles without hills in between. Longer with zero obstructions. This is a 5 watt radio. Only one suggestion to Midland. Make this radio in a GMRS/FRS version so the outdoor guys can buy a full 5 watt radio for play too! Not just for work. Highly recommended. 5 |

The PW X units work great. Multi-channel allows us to have more than 4 photographers all using radio triggers in the same location at one time. I've tried cheaper units and had problems with syncing and misfires. With the X units, we get reliable triggers and the 2-packs make it affordable for everyone on our staff. PocketWizard is the best way to go. 5 |
