Motorola Radio Control Manager

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

Works as well as the Nikon for less than 1/2 the price. The radio control has 3 zones and the power can be adjusted via that control.

A must for my Radio-Control hobby. I love the meter to show charge, and discharge, progress.

I have had several Moto phones throughout the years and Motorola has never disapointed.

Holds my cold shoe mounted wireless remote to the tripod while my radio flash control is on the hot shoe. Build quality is good and the clamp holds solidly to my tripod.

Manual all the way. The radio trigger syncs with my Godox X1T for manual control of power. I am currently using six TT600 flashes for humming birds in my front yard. So far they have worked as advertised.

I am actually using this to transport my radio control race car when traveling via airplane. Could not be happier with this product. Super burly, ergonomic handles big enough to fit my gear and small enough to bring on the plane.

I wanted a reasonably priced radio control that would work with both camera and flash but also wake the camera or EOS flash from sleep mode - the Vello device does just that. Without modification I was able to use the sender with my computer controller that I built for my EOS cameras and flashes.

Having a radio trigger with iTTL capability is very useful when you are pressed for time. This becomes especially useful with the AC3 zone controller mounted on top which gives you either iTTL control, full manual control, or on/off of up to three zones at the flick of a switch. Range is great and so far very reliable. Planning on buying more units for additional flashes. I like that it uses AA batteries since I have a bunch of these on hand for speedlights. Flash and remote camera triggering ports are an added bonus. Since this carries the iTTL signal, it can be used with select powerpack and monolight modules for control of your studio lights. I'm not sure I could ask much more from this unit.
