Motorola Radio Duel Charger Voltage

The speaker sound on this little radio is just great! I bought it to use with my ipod but I found that the radio sound is just perfect. I love that it is a duel purpose item. I originally wanted a dock for my ipod, but I have found myself listening to the radio more than my ipod. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be as it is pictured, but I also found that to be a bonus as well. I definitely reccommend this little radio and I give it 5 stars.

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

I needed a duel battery charger, it does what it says it does. Seemed like a vvery resaonable price too! Couldn't be happier as of now.

The pictures don't do this charger justice. This thing is enormous when you compare it to normal single and duel chargers, plus it's metal. The screen is much brighter and clearer than the pictures suggest, and it just feels so much more substantial and looks more professional than any other charger I've ever seen. It performs better too. I mean... I just watched it charge an NP-F970 20% in what felt like five minutes. If you want to be the most reliable guy on set, this charger is a must have. Bite the bullet and get one, you won't regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is charger provides everything you could possibly want in a charger. I love that it has duel USB slots and it charges my devices lightening fast! Belkin is a name brand that has stood the test of time and is known to be of great quality!

Cheap, works, love it so far. A duel bay charger is definitely better but for one battery it’s a great charger. Built super well and very nice!

I bought this to charge several batteries at the same time. I still have to one that came with the camera. I bought a non canon duel charger once but I noticed quickly that they were killing my batteries. This is kinda expensive for what it is but I know it just works and I don’t have to worry about it.

I maintain a remotely controlled EMS radio site that is deep in a national forest. Power there is either too low a voltage, or too high, and rarely correct. The LCR2400 does a great job in compensating for the changing voltage, and protects about $40K worth of radio equipment. It has worked 24/7 for over two years with no problems. Highly recommend it !!

We use from 15 to 20 of these radios about 8 hours each day. They hold up very well and are the most reliable of all the Midland radios that we have used over the years for our business. In my initial review I mentioned that the battery had a short life. Well in fact, the battery is great. The problem is that the radio charges the batter very rapidly. I never timed it but it must be within an hour or so. What happens with this rapid charge the charging current is high enough to cause a high resistance spot on the battery. Because of this high resistance the radio circuit thinks that the battery is charged because it has reached the battery full charge voltage. However, this voltage consists of the battery voltage PLUS the voltage drop across the high resistance spot on the battery. As a result the battery never reaches a full charge. If you are experiencing this problem remove the battery and look at the negative end and you will see a small spot that is a high resistance burn due to the fast charging. As a test I would wipe off this spot and the radio would charge the battery completely. Solution: I purchased some conductive past at our local hardware store, which I applied to each end of the batter. This has eliminated the problem. I have had no undercharges since I began using this paste with all of our radios.
