Motorola Radio Modem Disabled Solution

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

I was having drop outs on my old modem. This solved the problem and has proven to be much faster than my Motorola modem. Fast delivery. Easy to set up. Very happy with this purchase.

.After upgrading to Xfinity (Comcast) 1 Gig speed tier, I needed a new modem to take advantage. I originally purchased a Motorola MB8600. While the Motorola was indeed fast (spoiler alert: faster than the Arris S33), the Motorola was hugely unstable and unreliable on Xfinity/Comcast (Google it - you'll see its a huge problem). The Motorola was either locking up or losing Internet connection about 5-10 minutes every hour or two! Egads! It was horrible. So Motorola was returned. Enter the Arris SURFboard S33. It activated smoothly and has been rock solid for me on Xfinity/Comcast. It is also a very small modem. The box photos make it *look* large - but it is in fact only 6 x 6 x 2 thick. Quite compact and smaller than most DOCSIS 3.1 modems. It is fast...but, if to be honest it is slower than the MB8600 I had right before this one. My plan is rated at 1000 Mbps down and 40 Mbps up. The Motorola topped out at a very impressive 1014 Mbps down and 41.6 Mbps up. The S33 topped out at 933 Mbps down and 41.7 Mbps up. I ran tests on both modems probably 30 times at all different times of days and night. The above are my best scores. The S33 is consistently about 8-9% slower download speeds compared to the MB8600. But...reliability and stability are far more important than a marginal top-end speed difference. The only other (slight) negative is that the S33 runs a bit warmer than both my older SURFboard model and the Motorola MB8600. It's not hot per se, but does run warmer than maybe most modems. Just make sure to give it good ventilation and it should be fine.

I love this product. I needed a step up from my Motorola modem and chose this because I bought a Netgear router earlier and fell in love with how well it worked for our home. I highly recommend this modem if your thinking about changing.

I was using an Arris (Motorola) modem/router combo. It was constantly disconnecting me from my Comcast internet service. Comcast Tech came to the house, boosted the signal and ran a new coax from the pedestal to my house. Same thing. I bought the AC 1900 over two weeks ago and have had no problems. The speed is much higher than with my Arris and the range is much greater also. Installation was super easy on the Comcast website. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. I also highly recommend B&H Photo. Ordering from them was quick and easy, free, fast shipping, and a very fair price. You can’t go wrong with this modem/router or B&H.

I had purchased a Netgear router to accompany a motorola modem and the 2 couldn’t talk to each other. 5 hr discussions on phone were too much so I returned both and got the router/modem and hooked it up in no time with help from Netgear support.

I replaced a Motorola modem with this Netgear unit. I blamed our internet company for the many resets and lost signals. After installing the Netgear we have not lost one signal nor had random resets. It is well worth the money spent.

Recently moved houses and old Motorola modem just wasn’t doing it. So looked around for a while until I found this one and let me tell you this when they say wifi 6 is faster they mean it. Not only the speeds but the coverage is 10 times better. 100% worth the money. Zero issues so far. Have about 20 devices on wifi and speeds stay the same

This Netgear Modem Flys right by my old Motorola Surfboard. Fast and never disconnects. It actually does was it said it would. This coupled with my Nighthawk is hands down best thing that ever happened to my Internet .
