The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks- 5 |

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit! 5 |

Manual all the way. The radio trigger syncs with my Godox X1T for manual control of power. I am currently using six TT600 flashes for humming birds in my front yard. So far they have worked as advertised. 5 |

This is a well-designed radio that's easy to use for older people who are used to a manual dial. 5 |

This has a strong barrier to protect the contents within (XTS-AES Encryption). I wanted this because I've lost too many files lately when electronics went bad. I should have had them on one of these and I didn't. I regret that. I always use up my free cloud storage and I don't always want those personal items on a cloud. This is the answer. Setup is easy. When it is plugged into a Windows machine or IMac , the software is available and can be used to set up the drive with a password. That's pretty straightforward. If you forget your password or enter it incorrectly (10 attempts), you can wipe the drive and start over but you cannot recover your data. So, choose your password wisely :). 5 |

I was waiting for a TTL and Manual capable radio trigger for use with my Canon systems for event photography. With this product I decided the wait was over and jumped in. I already had Elinchrom Skyport triggers but wanted more function like HSS. I am very impressed and happy with the added versatility I can now enjoy! 5 |

I had to learn a whole new vocabulary to understand the implications of the different specifications; once I received it, I needed to read the manual to figure out the various menu options and how to make the changes. I have a copy of the manual downloaded to my phone for easy reference! I liked that the radios have rechargeable batteries and a charging base, both via USB. with the option to use 3 AAA batteries in a pinch. They charged quickly and I found the battery life was quite long on stand-by. They have long-range capability with high and low power settings, though you need ideal conditions to maximize this. I got at least a mile of coverage with trees and other obstructions. I loved that I can get weather alerts as well as weather forecasts; this can be more reliable than using my cell phone when I'm out in the woods or ponds. Real life: It worked well over a mile with a combination of lake and trees. On a recent camping trip, I arrived before others and went off to explore, so I left a radio at camp and asked them to radio me when they arrived. We used the radio to keep in touch while hiking and kayaking. Messages are transmitted clearly and easily. I didn't fully test the full-range, but am very pleased with this. 5 |

I'm not at the budget for some of the higher end radio transmitter/receivers that are out there, and will be using my Quantum in manual mode most all the time off camera anyway. What I needed was a solution to remote fire the Quantum with my Pacific Rim made radio system's receiver, which also terminated in a mini plug. I combined this along with a female to female mini bridge and my needs were solved on the first click. If you need grouping, remote ability to change ratios and power, etc. then more expensive solutions are clearly out there, including Quantum's. However, if you just need simple remote firing, this is a perfect item to work with. 5 |
