Great little radios, so far. Good range relative to similar Motorola Talkabouts.

I use Motorola radios for communication between crewmembers when on video shoots. When our hands are otherwise occupied with cameras, lighting, and audio, this remote speaker/mic makes portable radios more efficient and useful. This product works perfectly, with good transmission and reception.

Replaced a 10 year old Motorola SURFboard. New service speed required the upgrade.

Nice radios. Seem well-built. The three-pack comes with some useful accessories. Haven't used them yet though so I can't speak to range, etc.

This is a nice three pack of radios at a reasonable price. They seam to work great as well.

Great addition to my radios. I can pack my radio in my backpack, clip this mic on my shoulder strap, & communicate with my partner super easy. I highly recommend this product

Used these in the Book Cliff backcountry in Utah on a packing trip 30 miles from any roads. I was very surprised at the reception and clarity. I was a couple miles away from others around ridges and rocks and trees yet still had clear communication. It wasn't until I was probably 3 miles away and separated by a few ridges that reception began to get "static." One excellent feature that the other high end midland radios don't have is the ability to charge with a USB and battery pack. Plugged them in each night and charged quickly with a portable battery pack. My other T299 and T295 radios that are marketed as "Outfitter" radios stay home because you can only charge them with an AC adapter - the cigarette lighter adapter won't work because they are not compatible with a 12v system. The one thing Midland can do better is to make a waterproof version because we were in snow for 3 days straight. Just had to be careful to keep out of the moisture which is inconvenient when you're doing a lot of communication.
