Motorola Two Way Radio Walkie Talkie

I actually use this bag to store/carry my ham (amateur) radio HT (walkie talkie ). I can fit the radio, antenna, extra batteries, battery charger and battery A/C adapter inside and still have some room left over. It also is well padded for protection. This was the perfect case. 5 |

These “walkie talkie” and their headsets are wonderful. The transmit audio was robust and loud, in my video I barely have the volume turned up at all. Whisper mode was interesting, as it really amplified quiet "whispered"…. I got over 8 hours of use on a full charge, and they seemed to charge pretty fast on the desk charger. My main (minor) complaint is that you have to use the charging base with the proprietary adapter plugs, either the wall or car. It would be nice if you could charge the radios directly with a micro USB so there is one less charger to pack. Some glaring advantages over other brands: (1) They cost less; and (2) Once you figure them out they are an absolute no-brainer to use. They have the simplest buttons and menu/interface plus the nicest large display characters of any of the inexpensive radios I know of. Mastering these units takes maybe 15 minutes reading the manual. ***Read the manual The radios are durable and well built. Not surprising, since Midland has some great commercial equipment. 5 |

I own a cattle ranch and was wanting something stationary for my truck that can work with the walkie talkie's my employees have. The MXT115 works perfectly. I haven't had any issues with transmitting or receiving with the walkies. The MicroMobile allows me to communicate with my guys from a pretty good distance away. There is no reason for me to own a CB anymore. 5 |

We bought these walkie talkies in 2021 and used them everyday on our farm until this winter 2022. My husband lost his walkie talkie somewhere on our property in the beginning of our winter as we had a huge snow storm. We had been trying to find another one but didn't have any luck as we are in Canada. Our snow has been melting these last 2 weeks and my husband found our missing walking talkie. I didn't think it would be any good as it was out all winter long with temps in the -30's C. After we dried the walking talkie and charged it up. It still works great. We couldn't believe it. What an awesome product. Thank you for making a great product that lasts. 5 |

Massive upgrade over a walkie talkie with coiled earpiece. The sound is amazing, it can be whispered into and is crystal clear. Noise cancellation is also great. While you can enable push to talk, I personally don't ever use that feature and prefer the hands free operation with the ability to speak at any time. Then simply swivel the mic arm up to mute. Plus it's a game changer to not have the line tied up by only one transmission at a time. The only two things I could critique are that if you find yourself jogging or running with it on, it can bobble around a bit. I also noticed the range isn't quite as good as you would get with a traditional walkie talkie with an antenna. But if working in a single venue, this will more than fit the bill. Just be sure your firmware is the most recent version. I got this to add to an existing Master and Remote I got last year with older firmware. On a shoot it was intermittently disconnecting, causing a lot of problems during a live shoot. The Hollyland tech support was very helpful and we deduced it was the firmware. Once everything was updated, it's been amazing. Nonetheless, I would still choose this item 10 times out of 10 for production. 5 |

Hi, I have two Midland Two Way Radio (GXT-800) and use them. They are perfect. Thank you so much for the products you made. Now, I want to buy two more (probably GXT-1000) and two pairs again. My questions are: 1-) Can I use them together, I mean at same time (old models and new models)? 2-) I will buy two radio from your store (GXT-1000). Can I choose them as FRS or GMRS before send me? Can you setup them for me as GMRS? Thank you so much. Ilker 5 |

The MXT115 MicroMobile® Two-Way Radio has good distance and sound and yet small enough to fit anywhere in your vehicle. Also recommend the MicroMobile® MXTA26 6db Gain Whip Antenna to go with it for greater distance and clarity. 5 |

I use the GXT Two Way Radio for photoshoots. I give each photographer, and the talent one. It allows us to capture action shots. Very easy to use, good range, and a requirement on production days. 5 |

We bought the X-TALKER T71VP3 Two-Way Radio’s to go with our MXT275 and they work great. The battery life is great on the T71VP3. We put them to the test on a week long wheeling trip. 5 |

As a Dyrt Ranger I get the opportunity to review outdoor gear. On this trip I took along my recently received Midland X-TALKER T75VP3 hand held radio’s. As soon as I took the radio’s out of their display box I could tell these weren’t anything like my childhood Walkie talkies. Camouflaged, compact and very sturdy feeling. They fit nicely in your hand. These radio’s come with rechargeable batteries. You can also use regular batteries if need be. The base that comes with the radio has the options of using alternate charging platforms in addition to plugging it into the wall. There are A LOT of instructions;) few important points are you have to be registered to use certain frequencies and there is a weather channel options BUT I will have to figure that one out when I have more time as right now it’s Greek to me.... Then we took our radio’s out to play. There was the obligatory “can you hear me now” as we stood five feet apart. Next on the East Overlook we split up and I was extremely surprised at the sound quality . Once again I was expecting the childhood Walkie talkie experience. However these radio’s sound awesome. On another trail, with trees , small hills and distance in between the sound and reception was just as good. I would suggest using something in addition to the belt clip included. It is sturdy but not extremely secure and I worried about loosing the radio when I hooked it to my belt. Overall I am loving this little radio, I will review it again when I have had a chance to use it in more adverse and different situations. 5 |
