Motorola Wireless Router Ip

Using this with NEC NP-M352WS 3500-Lumen Portable Short Throw DLP Projector. Powerpoint slides are about 1 second delayed. No audio via the wireless adapter. However, I am happy with the device for my purposes. I also use a hard wire for audio/video usage. After the second round of ordering, receiving, and returning the first order of the projector and this adapter, an with level II NEC tech support, I am finally able to get the devices to work together. Also, I am not going to be using this on a wireless network/router, but through the Easy Connection option (no router present at installation). It came down to one simple operation (from Mac OS 6.8): Before starting the process below, you will need to get the wireless IP address of the projector. Mine was 10.0.39.155. -click on the wireless icon at the top of the screen -click on Open Network Preferences -click on Advanced -click on TCP/IP tab -change the Configure IPv4 setting to Manually -change the IPv4 Address: to something close to your video projector's (my instance: 10.0.39.160) -click OK and then Apply Don't forget to reverse this setting when you're done using the wireless adapter in order to connect to the internet normally. I was using an Arris (Motorola) modem/router combo. It was constantly disconnecting me from my Comcast internet service. Comcast Tech came to the house, boosted the signal and ran a new coax from the pedestal to my house. Same thing. I bought the AC 1900 over two weeks ago and have had no problems. The speed is much higher than with my Arris and the range is much greater also. Installation was super easy on the Comcast website. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. I had purchased a Netgear router to accompany a motorola modem and the 2 couldn’t talk to each other. 5 hr discussions on phone were too much so I returned both and got the router/modem and hooked it up in no time with help from Netgear support.

The Motorola Surfboard I was using was barely getting me half the speed I was paying for. Coupled with my nighthawk router the new CM700 is getting me speeds often well above what I'm paying for!! Excellent cable modem!!

I was having issues with an older Motorola router and Wi-Fi connections staying connected. Have always been a Motorola fan because they have been a good reliable product for years. Did my research looking for an upgrade for a family member and purchased this same unit for them. We installed it easily and they have been pleased and so was I with its performance. Once I returned home from vacation I decided to upgrade my self and bought this one. Again install was easy and flawless, I have had it for over a month now and absolutely no problems. Upgraded my internet speed to 300 mb and it handles it well. Very happy with my Net Gear purchase.

I bought this unit to replace a Motorola modem/router that had been fried by a lightning strike. The Night Hawk was easy to install and connect and provides excellent coverage throughout our 3000 sq. ft. house.
