Motorola Xts 1500 Radio Case

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

1500 Case with Foam (Black) by Pelican

This has a strong barrier to protect the contents within (XTS-AES Encryption). I wanted this because I've lost too many files lately when electronics went bad. I should have had them on one of these and I didn't. I regret that. I always use up my free cloud storage and I don't always want those personal items on a cloud. This is the answer. Setup is easy. When it is plugged into a Windows machine or IMac , the software is available and can be used to set up the drive with a password. That's pretty straightforward. If you forget your password or enter it incorrectly (10 attempts), you can wipe the drive and start over but you cannot recover your data. So, choose your password wisely :).

This is a great product, it holds my motorola droid turbo in it's otterbox case, my wallet and my car keys. Keeps them dry and it floats if you drop it in the water.

Fantastic addition to the 1500 case for all of the tiny things that one generally loses or forgets to bring.

I use these dividers in my pelican 1500 case for my lenses and filters. the options are endless with this system and hold everything very well.

I have a Pelican case that is about 15 years old. I forgot the number and it wasn't on the case (turns out it is a 1500). Anyway the foam had been configured for a video camera that no longer works and has since been scrapped. Obviously I need to start over with the foam to be able to use the case. Working from the dimensions was difficult even on the Pelican website. Enter B&H. There description allow me to select the proper replacement foam on the first try. Needless to say, it fits perfectly. Now I have to decide what I am going to put in my new case.

I upgraded to this case from a 1500 pelican model. I LOVE IT. I use this for DSLR video production. I use it to house my camera body 4 lenses w/ lens gears attached, 2 monitors, batteries and all electronic accessories. It is a one stop shop for me. I do wish pelican made carrying straps that went through the lock holes. This one is a bit on the larger side for just having 1 carry handle, so I wish that was an option.
