Motorola Xts 1500 Radio Display

This was a no-brainer. If I’m spending $1500+ on a display, I’m definitely protecting it with AppleCare.

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

This has a strong barrier to protect the contents within (XTS-AES Encryption). I wanted this because I've lost too many files lately when electronics went bad. I should have had them on one of these and I didn't. I regret that. I always use up my free cloud storage and I don't always want those personal items on a cloud. This is the answer. Setup is easy. When it is plugged into a Windows machine or IMac , the software is available and can be used to set up the drive with a password. That's pretty straightforward. If you forget your password or enter it incorrectly (10 attempts), you can wipe the drive and start over but you cannot recover your data. So, choose your password wisely :).

I picked this to replace old clock radio for its display size, sound quality, blue tooth, AM, and FM, digital tuning, sleep mode and looks. I use in the bedroom but would work well in an office also. Happy with my purchase. JC

This is our 4th Sangean radio.It doesn't take up much space. I prefer to sleep in a very dark environment and the digital display can be dimmed to a comfortable level. The digits are large enough to be read without glasses and can have the day of the week in the display. No more panic moments thinking it is the wrong day of the week! There is no guessing whether the alarm is on or off because it displays an icon when enabled. One of the critical bits in our area is the battery backup this radio has. Buttons are lighted and in a good location with a satisfying click when pressed. It is true as others have mentioned that turning off loudness sounds a lot better. Setting the clock and alarm times does require some speed to finish. Our old clock radio had an enter button which alleviated the short timeout for some functions. Once you get the hang of it it is easy to do. Two of our other Sangean radios don't have a battery backup and we have had years of practice. We manually set clocks anyway because of possible electrical interference in our area. The atomic clocks will sometimes time travel. I tried the automatic setting on this clock but while moving around to different stations the clock made the time useless. If you still need to get up on time it is something to keep in mind. I am not on call anymore so I don't keep the cell on at night. Won't be using the higher tech functions but they are there for those that do need/want them. Funny thing about an alarm clock. Probably the most ignored tech that we own - except when we need to wake up to music - on time.

So far I love it. It has taken the place of my alarm clock and radio. I love the verbal snooze. Love the way it hooks up to my music and can also play my local radio station if I decide to. It is a good size, smaller than my alarm clock, nice customize-able display. I can see the time display without my glasses. I LOVE that I can set or cancel my alarms with my voice. I have not played around yet with too many other features but I know it has many. I need to continue to check it out. Great price and highly recommend!!

I have had several Moto phones throughout the years and Motorola has never disapointed.
