Motorola Xts 5000 Model 1 Radio

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

I love my Tivoli Model One Radio. I can get the radio stations that I did not get before. Also it is plain and simple as I do not care for any wireless stuff. The sound is great too !

This is the same exact model as the one that came with my Nikon SB-5000 flash. So when I cracked mine by accident this was the perfect replacement.  A little pricey for a single piece of molded plastic, but it works perfectly with my flash.  If you want to save money there is also an off-brand version available at a lower price.  I figured I stay with Nikon and not take a chance on a cheaper version.

Easy to set up and use. I use the cutter for mounting images on 3/16 foam core board. The cutter doesn't go all the way through for this purpose (nor was it designed to). The Model 5000 cutter (designed for 8-ply matt) will do the job on 3/16. However, even with the cutter that came with the Logan 450-1, it's easy to do a hand held cut on the back of the foam core board and still have a professional look. Kudos to Logan customer service. When a piece of plastic was broken during shipment of the Model 5000 cutter they generously provided replacement parts instead of making me return the product.

This is my second Model One and all I can say is, it's a great little radio!! It's easy to use, and sounds great. Would definitely recommend!!

1 stop is the right amount for me.

This has a strong barrier to protect the contents within (XTS-AES Encryption). I wanted this because I've lost too many files lately when electronics went bad. I should have had them on one of these and I didn't. I regret that. I always use up my free cloud storage and I don't always want those personal items on a cloud. This is the answer. Setup is easy. When it is plugged into a Windows machine or IMac , the software is available and can be used to set up the drive with a password. That's pretty straightforward. If you forget your password or enter it incorrectly (10 attempts), you can wipe the drive and start over but you cannot recover your data. So, choose your password wisely :).

1/2 the price of local shops.

Radio is the way to go, any angle and up to a 100yds they work perfect! I ordered the 602C model and wish I had ordered the 622 because it does one thing I wanted.. flash to fire second curtain, on Canon you need the 622C ..BUT they work fine and I use them all the time !
