Motorola Xts 5000 Radio Mic

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

I� have used the Kopul 5000 mic cables multiple times to record live grand opera performances micing the orchestra pit and the stage.� These productions have no room for error, have no do-overs and lots of variable stage lighting.� A well shielded and quad core wrap to reject any possible dimmer noise is mandatory for this purpose.� The Kopuls fill the bill at a good price.

This has a strong barrier to protect the contents within (XTS-AES Encryption). I wanted this because I've lost too many files lately when electronics went bad. I should have had them on one of these and I didn't. I regret that. I always use up my free cloud storage and I don't always want those personal items on a cloud. This is the answer. Setup is easy. When it is plugged into a Windows machine or IMac , the software is available and can be used to set up the drive with a password. That's pretty straightforward. If you forget your password or enter it incorrectly (10 attempts), you can wipe the drive and start over but you cannot recover your data. So, choose your password wisely :).

I have had several Moto phones throughout the years and Motorola has never disapointed.

We had a old mic that was dropped and needed to be replaced at our church and this worked well for that. It's better than the old Radio Shack mic it replaced.
