Using it to mount my tv over a stone fireplace.

Used this bracket to mount a 32 flat screen TV on a wall near a corner. Very easy to attach to both the back of the TV and the wall.Adjusts easily in virtually any direction.Includes necessary hardware for most situations. Solid construction.

Easy to swap out with the original mount plate. Made it possible to use our older Peerless articulating arm wall mount with a new flat screen TV with a different rear bolt pattern from our 11 year old flat screen TV. We purchased this TV mount to enable the TV to extend beyond the end of a fireplace. The TV is recessed in a pocket between the fireplace and a window. This mount allows us to telescope and turn the TV so all can see beyond the fireplace. I consider the unit exceptionally well-constructed and designed. The mounting kit contains a variety of fasteners to anchor the unit to the wall. In our case, we needed our own lag screws to secure the frame to the stud pattern on the wall. The unit is is rather ornery and cumbersome to install. Plan on two people to install. The mounting template works well. But it is important to measure the mounting slots in the unit's frame to ensure the one's chosen align with the wall stud's locations. I recommend using a level and drawing a centerline for the fasteners to follow. Pre-drill holes into the wall studs. I strongly recommend not mounting through the drywall with plastic expansion anchors. There will be a lot of bearing on a material that is not designed for long-term structural integrity. We use all of the mount's 40" extension. It certainly meets our needs.

I got this to mount my 55 TV above our fireplace. This mount is very sturdy and heavy duty and not light. It came with all of the mounting hardware which was a plus. The only modification I had to do was build some brackets to extend it out to the edge of the fireplace mantel. Otherwise the TV would have set to high for our room. Our issue, not the mount.

It comes with instructions, but there is a video that will help you install it which is a huge help. My advice is to use two people because it's rather heavy and it makes installation go smoothly. Once it was in place my 70-inch TV was ready for the test. You can pull the TV down and push it up when you're finished. I am not sure how it works but the ease of using the up and down and tilt features is so smooth. You don't need both hands to do this with most mounts, this glides with really a touch of your finger. It's perfect for those who have a specific way of wanting to watch TV. My boyfriend likes it tilted and pulled down me I like it up and turned a bit. So we compromise and switch off while watching our shows. It is perfect for the wall above the fireplace or I don't see why you need a fireplace you could use this TV Mount on any wall. I highly recommend it.

After that mounting the tv was a breeze. I’m able to move my tv with the tip of my finger. You can’t tell it’s there. The tv can be pulled out a little or moved around which is amazing. I highly recommend this mount due to the ease of putting it up, the durability and high quality material make this a staple for any house that wants to mount the tv above the fireplace. 10/10 recommend

Just what I needed to mount my 65” tv in a 28” deep niche over a fireplace. Durable, easy to instal. Love it!!

With this height adjustable tv mount over my fireplace, i can pull down my tv and i am confident i will not get a stiff neck from looking up.
