If you want a stand that is relatively light, goes very high and has a rocky mountain leg then this is a great stand.  Not cheap, but worth it over the life time of its use.

Two of these will cost less that one high roller. Got an HMI par with a junior stud? Get it up there. At this price (and free shipping), you really should look into this, especially if you're a newbie/indie/kid/small biz shooter sticking frames or lights on fully extended c-stands (that, or make sure your liability insurance is maxed out). Yeah, it's heavy, but it's supposed to be, and packs reasonably small for what it does.
