Mouse Ergonomics Use Wrist Or Elbow
Gumpsumoto | 2024-06-23 01:21:28 |
I had my doubts when I ordered this, but since I started using it the persistent pain in my elbow has disappeared. The ergonomic design was the reason I got this, but I have also found the utility of the programmable 'thumb buttons' to be very useful. The one negative comment I will say about the mouse is that the buttons are too sensitive. Simply resting your fingers on the buttons will cause them to click, so I had to learn to keep my fingers away from the buttons between clicks, and I had to disable the bottom-most finger button because I could not keep from clicking it without great effort. Despite this one flaw, I love this mouse. I find it very useful, it has eliminated all my elbow pain, and it's actually kind of fun to use. I foresee the purchase of at least one more for the other computer in my office that I use regularly. 5 |

I was in need of a new mousepad. Ergonomics was a key factor for me. In looking I discovered the 3M gel wrist mousepad. The added bonus is the use of recycled materials and a very unique mousing surface that extends battery life by 75 percent for wireless mice. It also has unique antimicrobial protection which is a plus. Wrist rest offers great support. When used with a nice economic mouse, in my case the Evoluent Vertical Mouse 4, you definitely notice the difference in hand and wrist fatigue. Not sure it is for everyone but certainly fits the bill for me......Great innovative concept by 3M. 5 |

I developed severe tendinitis in my right wrist after years of using a conventional computer mouse. I started using my left hand to mouse and developed the same injury in that wrist. After receiving hand therapy and using the Expert Mouse, my wrists have healed. This device allows me to point, click, double-click and drag without making any of the finger motions that inflame my wrist tendons. I have used a wired Expert Mouse at home and at work for over three years. The wireless version works just as well but is much more convenient. 5 |
