Mouse Types In Computer

This is a great, easy to use mouse. I've used various Microsoft Mouse types through the years and this is the same, good, high quality.

This mouse is very easy to use. I use it at home for my personal computer.

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

Great looking mouse will know more about it once I get to use it after I finish my rebuild of my computer

For many years, I have been purchasing 4-port USB Hubs that were a lot less expensive; however, when I plugged the mouse's Nano into one of these types of Hubs commands from the mouse would all too often go unrecognized. I've been told by computer savvy people that these types of Nanos get confused from a laptop cooling fan and other flash drives, etc. being simultaneously plugged into those types of Hubs. I have also found that the less expensive Hubs have a relatively short life span and I don't know what causes this. The cable on this Xcellon USB-4311B 4-port USB 3.1 Hub is much thicker than the bargain hubs. As the product's description suggests, it has a 3.1 functionality and many newer computers these days have one or more 3.1 ports. I really did not know how this product would perform; however, now that I've been using it for hours already, it has not missed a beat when it comes to my laptop recognizing each and every action that the wireless mouse generates. One tip that I will offer is to make certain that the blue LED light is illuminated when this Xcellon USB 3.1 Hub is in use and if it is not there is an on off button near the opposing end of the Hub's body. The LED light turns off automatically when the computer shuts down.

I use this mouse for work. i do some web design and other types of developing. pros - my arm posture using the mouse just feels more natural. I have a small gel wrist pad as well and together my arm is always comfortable. I rarely get any pain anymore from using a mouse.Also, the wireless functionality is great (Win 7 64 bit). No issues with connectivity or with the laptop recognizing my movements.Cons - Really, it was hard for me to finally decide to spend $ for a mouse. Thats money that could have been used elsewhere. However, I'd rather spend that money now on a mouse to save me some pain then spending more money down the road on surgery or physical therapy to help correct something else.

I have been using this mouse for a couple of years. This is my second mouse to use on my wife's computer. It is the mouse my iMac should have come up

As someone who uses a mouse all day long, I'm quite particular about computer mice in general. This one is excellent!

I like this unit and it was on of four models types I purchased for computer, entertainment and security devices. The thing I really like about this one is that it lets me know usage immediately and daily. The only thing I do not like is that sometimes the fan gets sort of loud, almost like a buzzing. Small price to pay for the protection it provides. I generally am only using 23% of the rating with a computer tower, two displays, four external RAID drives, a television and DirectTV box. This gives me 29 minutes of outage power which will extend itself if I turn off unnecessary devices.
