Movie Choppy Star Ocean 1R On Switch Emulator

We used the cameras in the Dominican Republic on a speed boat, in the ocean taking pictures of star fish and out in the waves of the ocean. Its nice because the camera has a wrist strap so you don't lose it. It also floats just in case! Took pretty nice pictures but if you want underwater ones you'll need goggles so you can actually center the pic. It didn't leak any water and all the pictures turned out well!

As in almost every review I read, this unit lives up to it's 5 star rating. After watching the YouTube movie that explained how to unpack and set up- it was a cinch. Hadn't used the Sigma 150-600 sport very much because of the weight but this has given me a renewed desire to get out and shoot anything that flies or even great landscape shots. Really enjoying the lens and the gimbal now.

It works with my Panasonic DCS- 1R. It is very cheap compared to others. Everyone should buy it.

A bit of a learning curve from the R5 (why reverse the on/off switch & the movie/stills switch) but now I have a camera that can hold focus on fly-overs which it's predecessor wouldn't

A must-have for long exposure photography (i.e. star photography). The switch is a little too easy to accidentally slide into the lock position, but this isn't much of a problem. Certainly not as advanced as an intervalometer, but is much cheaper.

This switch is used with my Canon EOS 70D. It is great taking star trails, macro, bird pictures at the feeder out back, anything around home. The switch is really handy for keeping camera steady.

I just shot a water scene with two actors 4 feet from a boat in choppy water. The idea was to show that the two characters were hopelessly lost at sea and we were all worried about the splashing noises coming from the our 30 foot boat... lots of LOUD splunk sounds when waves hit the side of the boat. Well let me just tell you I showed the footage with the audio matched to a friend and he couldn't figure out how we got the sound so clear. He thought I was swimming with them holding a boom... NO IDEA there was a boat 4 feet away. That is how directional it is. And the audio clarity is perfect. Mix and record this sucker right and it will sound like any hollywood movie.

I bought this to replace a similar battery that I bought 8 years ago for my EX-1R. �The original lasted 8 years of continuous use. �Enough said...
