I looked at many different cases, but I ended up choosing this one for its small size and hard external skin. My 1TB G-Drive fits perfectly in it with the thunderbolt cable. This drive is very fast. I keep my Lightroom catalog on it and can use the catalog wherever I go. At the moment there are over 100,000 previews on it and I can view my photos without having to have the originals. The USB connector collapses into the body for protection and there is a positive stop when extended to prevent it from withdrawing while trying to put it in your USB port. There is also a hole at the back end enabling you to attach it to your keychain or the like. I am very satisfied. 5 |

Now that SanDisk has brought out this version of their SSD, I have moved all of my photos and Lightroom catalog to this drive and have it connected full time. Works well and fast enough that it is a good alternative to using the internal SSD that came with my MacBook Pro 5 |
