Bought it to dock to an MSI Stealth, even though there's a charger adapter that fits it doesn't have the same energy amount that this particular laptop needs to be charged. So if it gets plugged in to the dock charger it won't work. Everything else is seamless and amazing! 5 |

This mass upgrade from my broken-down MSI GS66 Stealth is a big one. 16" screen, 240hz, this ROG Strix G16 is a well-performing and spaceship-like laptop well suited for both your gaming needs of today, and other office-like tasks such as making music, audio editing in a D.A.W. (digital audio workshop), and an easily-portable piece as well. Performance is great, but I feel like the battery can run better, mostly because I don't know how to treat the battery life of these machines; On battery power, it runs some games better than my 2020 MSI did; That's a big one for me. I got this when I purchased my MSI Laptop as I like Thermaltake products, a laptop always needs cooling support and and a review suggested it would lower load temps by 10-15 degrees. Thought that might be hype, but guess what? It does. Try it on. 5 |
