Multi Color Cello Instrument

I originally bought this to mic a cello as the available pickups were unsatisfactory. After a makeshift adaptation of the instrument clip we were getting a nice, rich, warm, full tone right away without even touching the EQ. We've been using this for frequent gigs--weddings, parties etc.--for about 4 or 5 years now and it's still working perfectly. This unit has served us so well at such a great price, I just bought 3 more from B&H to mic the string section of the jazz orchestra. 5 |

I bought this stand for my Luis & Clark carbon fiber cello. It is extremely well made, yet small and thus easy to carry when folded up. While it holds a regular cello well - a student uses it - it also fits my instrument well. The silicone rubber coating is thick and protects the instrument while providing plenty of friction to hold the instrument in place. Of course, the width can be adjusted to fit other instruments. I am very picky and couldn't be happier with this purchase. Additionally the price is incredible for the value you are getting. Last point: some stands come with a bow holder, but thus are not very portable. I have never had trouble finding space to hang or place a bow. 5 |

These are a great softener for the cello and should come standard with each. 5 |

Everything for color accuracy is in this beautifully made instrument. It is expensive but well worth the money for solving color variants that are not readily apparent. 5 |

This is a good lighting instrument for a back light or other compact environment. The color range let me warm up the backlight when combined with other daylight-balanced keys. Very solid yoke construction means the light firmly locks into position when you tighten it down. That's important when you attach a heavy battery for DC power. I recommend the barndoors to give you better control of focus and spill. Great value and a good addition to my lighting arsenal! 5 |

This light is great for my one-person-band paradigm. I have been looking for a reasonably priced, uncomplicated, solidly-built, yet portable lighting instrument that allows me to add a range of lighting textures to my interview backgrounds. This definitely fits the bill. I usually shoot both ext. and int. with all my LED lights set to daylight, so the lack of having variable color temp is not a big issue for me. I haven't used the orange filter yet, but I imagine it will work fine for my rare non-daylight situation. There are more advanced iterations of this light that allow for much more control of color temp, but of course you will pay a lot more for that. This light has no fan, whih is great, plus the barndoors can rotate (which surprisingly - at least to me - doesn't happen with all other such lights. For what it's worth, that's such a must-have feature for me.) You can buy a robust C stand to support this light for sure, but with the proper stud adaptor, and sandbags, I have had no issue using my standard 8' IMPACT light stands to securely support this instrument. I just got back from two days of shooting 10 interviews where I used this light for the first time. THIS is what I have been looking for. It has elevated the look of my work to what I have been envisioning while not imposing excessive weight or hassle, and not break the budget. 5 |

This is not your average color meter. If you're working in environments with mixed lighting where color accuracy is a must, this is your instrument. Buy it while you can! 5 |

I like the multi-color tone option that this light has. It is very bright too. The battery option seems to work well. 5 |
