This cable modem rocks. It’s also ready for the future whenever Cox offers multi-gig internet. I am extremely pleased with this modem and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a powerful modem that can push your even more powerful wireless router

I have a Netgear 1 Gig cable modem but it is getting old and 2.5 gig is going to come our way sometime soon. So, I bought another Netgear 2.5 Gig cable modem. It works great and I've had no problems with either one of them. I also bought 5 grand of other netgear switches, routers to go with the 2.5 gig internet that is comings. Way overkill for a homeowner but way worth it.

sing this multi-gig switch in my home network, which is 90% hardwired, including router-to-router (node) backhaul. The switch performs as expected, which is to say exceptionally well. On my 1Gbps ISP (coax cable) plan, I am pulling the maximum (overprovisioned) 1.2Gbps through this switch at the far end of the hardwired network, at the same average latency as the main router is enjoying between its WAN port and the ISP itself. (Zero additional lag at the end of the network.) Excellent Netgear quality, as expected. Cheers!
