Great sounding receiver ....AWESOME with my Bluetooth

I bought this receiver for the Bluetooth connectivity. I am now able to play my iTunes songs from the iTunes cloud through my iPhone and the new Receiver to our inside and / or outside speakers - all from my lounge chair. I am handicapped, so this is of great help to me.

There are so many solutions to multi-source, multi-zone preamps, each one with their own pros and cons. What stands out with the RM64 aside from its known quality is the fact that its four output channels are balanced mono XLRs (of course you can route each two left and right channels for 2 stereo output channels). The micro switches are clearly intended for installations with little to no user input on the fly. We're using the RM64 for an installation where we route separate music and microphone signals to two individual PA installations to enable both areas to play house sound, and to air general announcements.

Very straightforward 2 ch receiver with bluetooth and a turntable pre. Respectable power output... Clean looks... and, it's a SONY!

This receiver has revitalized my 1980s stereo system by allowing Bluetooth transfer from my Sony Walkman (CD quality) and from an iPhone. When powered the receiver goes into pairing mode--your device remembers this receiver...you are connected. So far there has been no problem with connection or distance from the receiver. As this is my second unit (first attached to another stereo system) I only wish I could rename the unit as it comes up with the same name...only to be identified by the Bluetooth address. If you only have one of these, this will not be an issue. Attachment is simple: connect using RCA supplied cord to your receiver aux input. Having it on a switched plug on the receiver is very convenient. If not, you would have to push the light button to switch it into on mode. It has an auto off after a few minutes of not receiving a signal. It also has an optical connection.

Perfect size for location laptop - FYI - it supports bluetooth (no specialized receiver to keep track of - YAY! ). Works well for it's size, no issues on connectivity or use... Wacom FTW! (Suggestion: apply some Velcro tabs to hold the pen to the tablet when in/on a location. Always seems to wander off...)

This receiver is reasonably priced, does what I need and has great sound. The Bluetooth capability is especially nice, along with the phono input.
