It's a wired remote switch. It works good. It has Canon written on it. Not much else to tell.

Host controllers may work better for doing batch CD, DVD or USB with programs that are made to burn to multiple drives at one time.

Host controllers (in contrast to hubs) do better in certain ways, For example, when using software to burn to multiple CD drives. The card has a port to plug in SATA power; they explain this is to give it added power (I believe for charging - not sure if for general operation), but it works fine even without it - at least for standard operation to devices that have wall power.

Great buy at a great price. For those looking for a simple wired shutter switch this is the one.

I'll use this switch on an Olympus E-M1 Mk2. It works both wired and wireless so there are choices.

I’ve gone through multiple wireless and wired lav setups for shooting tv/video interviews that require very high quality audio. This microphone absolutely is the best one yet, and for a price point you can’t really beat for the quality you receive. I tried a few other wired mics and I have to say I am happiest with this quality when paired up with my Zoom H5. For reference, I shoot documentaries and artist interviews which require high quality voiceover. The mic’s XLR connector is a little big but it packs up nicely in the very snazzy leather box it comes in. Which I should mention is sleek and well-built to protect. Love this mic!

These work great! I use them for LED stage lighting where multiple fixtures need to be wired to one source. Much better solution than a bulky quad box or power strip

In my application, I run multiple XLR mics (wired and wireless) into a small Shure mixer, and from there into the mic input jack of a Canon prosumer camcorder. This transformer ensures that the balanced signal is converted to unbalanced without introducing hum or noise (of course, the amp settings matter, too).
