Even better than promised. Will try hooking it to my refrigerator.

Strong enough to hold up a refrigerator, I think. Fits perfectly, of course.

For the past three years, I've had a problem with severely strained back muscles. The worst thing I can do is sit for long periods of time and, since I make my living as a writer, I spent many hours in my desk chair. A physical therapist recommended I get a product like this, but warned it might be very expensive. Well, it wasn't. For the price we paid, I didn't think I'd get a product that performed this well. Now, usually, I stand when I write. I have less back pain, and its very easy to move it up and down. I can't imagine how a more expensive version of this would be any better.

I wish I had gotten this years ago! It really puts my neck and shoulders in a much better position. If you are just putting a laptop on a desk, you are straining muscles. Get this - it helps! The fact that it is not adjustable is not a problem for me. It raises the screen up much closer to your eye level and the tilt on the keyboard seems just right. Your arms/hands have to go up higher, which isn't ideal, but there's no getting around that with a laptop. The main thing is that it puts your head/neck/shoulders in a more comfortable position. This stand seems very sturdy and it's a good match to the macbooks in color and material.

I have a bad back and knees and this stool was recommended by a professional. I have used it twice and really feel that it is helping my back. Your core muscles HAVE to kick in when sitting. The height is perfect...you simply walk off if it. Comes with a mesh bag and shoulder strap. Defiantly recommend.
