Music With Good Bass Guitar

Love it so far. Like the other reviewer, I bought it as a guitar amp since it was priced so competitively against a good amp. It has more functionality with the mixer over a traditional amp. with 800Watts, it has the bass needed to push a drum kit and bass player. The dishes in my china cabinet were literally hopping. I will return to revise the update with more time. 5 |

I purchased the HA-RX700 for my ham radio station, but ended up using them with my stereo on a regular basis. Very comfortable, extremely durable, and attractive - with an excellent, well-balanced sound signature. Bass is solid and punchy, without booming or overwhelming higher frequencies. Mid-range is all present and accounted for, it's all there. Treble sounds are clear and crisp, with no harsh sibilance. I play acoustic guitar, and electric guitar and bass - so I want my record collection to sound realistic. Guitars voices sound right. Cymbals sizzle and triangles ping as they should. Bass lines sound right - deep, full, but not booming or thick. These are well made, durable, and good sounding cans that compare favorably with other models costing much more. While they do not sound exactly the same, I consider them serious competition for my AudioTechnica ATH-M50, and similarly priced cans from AKG, Sennheiser, and Shure. YOU might prefer one of these other products, but you won't get anything sounding this good from those companies for the price of these cans. At least, that is just MY take . . . your mileage may vary. Good luck with YOUR buying decision. I am pleased with this transaction. Oh... almost forgot to mention B&H shipped them quickly and safely in practically no time. Count me a happy camper. JHR 5 |

Ideal if you play bass or guitar and sing. It gives you space from your instrument. 5 |

Good studio headphones. Not very bass-heavy for those interested in everyday headphones for music. 5 |

Had the audioengine 2's and wasn't satisfied, moved up to the 5's and found them worse - muddy all across the midrange, overly boomy bass, completely muffled vocals, etc. Wanted something clear and precise, and was willing to sacrifice bass to get it. I picked these up because of the brand's reputation, thinking I'd pair them with a small subwoofer and get better full frequency response than getting the 8020s (or even 8030s) alone. But I was BLOWN AWAY by the low end. No, it's not going to rattle the windows with its power, but the notes are reproduced in the music. I can't believe how good this sounds with professionally mastered music and movies. It thunders when necessary! And one of the best things is that it shows you, right away, how far away your mix is. A good mix sounds amazing. A quicky mix you've done in ableton... sounds horrible. That's exactly what you want from a studio monitor. I've in love and only wish I had picked these up 8 years ago instead of screwing around with junk monitors. I used to joke that these are the only monitors you see at every international art exhibition using sound, but now I know why. I have the space for a subwoofer at my desk studio, but now I seriously doubt I'm going to get one... at least for the time being. 5 stars. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Requested this because I wanted decent music player to use outside by the pool. I've used other JBL wireless speakers for this purpose and I've always felt that I wanted a little bit more volume and bass than they were able to provide. When the party box arrived, I was immediately impressed by how substantial it was. It appeared solidly-built and had a good weight to it. Not too heavy, but it let you know that there was a serious speaker inside. I couldn't wait to turn it on. It quickly paired with my phone via Bluetooth and the music started pouring out. This thing really blew me away. All the volume you could ask for along with tight bass. To raise the bar a little bit more, the front of the speaker lights up with an adjustable array of light that circles the speaker cone. Very cool Extra Touch in my opinion. I took it outside play sit next to the pool and walked across the yard to hear how loud it was. As I turned the volume up I realized that there was no way I was going to be able to max this thing out without having the police called. This thing was stylish and a monster at the same time. I found myself playing all different types of music just to hear how good this thing really was.. and it is that good. If you're looking for a Wireless speaker to take you to the next level, this is for you. I failed to mention it has a nice carry handle integrated into the top of the speaker making it very easy to pick up and move around. This thing would be great for tailgates, the beach, the pool or any other outdoor activity. In fact I use it in my house quite a bit as my main music source because I like the lights so much. No going wrong with this one. JBL continues to impress me with it's audio products. I would definitely recommend this highly to just about anyone looking for a substantial boombox. 5 |

I am used to using 7506s with my mixers, but when monitoring my camera or enjoying music on my phone these are nice. Good bass response even though they don’t cover your ears. I like the fold up portability to hopefully keep them safe longer. The 45 degree jack also helps. Like these. Great price. I’ll buy again when I wear these out. 5 |
