Great mic arm supports mic very well in any position even my heavier mxl 990 with no prob .would definately recommend 5 Stars .A

Has a nice warm sound to it. I like it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the MXL 990 or MXL 770. I use it mostly for indie music. Got it for $65 cant beat that.

My friend and I have been using his MXL 990/991 pair for amateur recording. I figured it was time to get my own condenser mics, so I went with this and its brother, the AT2021. So far with my experience, this mic is a good all arounder. I've used it not only for vocals, but for acoustic guitar, cajon, other percussive instruments, etc. I place this off-axis from my guitars sound hole, and the AT2021 a couple inches from the 12th-14th frets. Been happy with the sound quality. There are defintely other, more expensive options, but if you're getting started, get this.

I use this windscreen for my MXL 990, on skype, livestreaming, and voice overs. I also have a pop filter on the flexable arm, but thats better for recording singers (do that too). I wanted something to use on my mic for just me infront of my pc that didn't block my view and not have to move out of the way all the time, so I bought this. Does exactly what it says it supposed to do. Protect my mic from the harsh P and B's of regular speech. Just wish it wasn't so much more expensive than the little versions.

The MXL 990 Blaze is yet another outstanding microphone by the MXL folks. It has excellent audio qualities at a very affordable price. To send it over the top, it has red LED's, 4 of them, to set the mood in your studio, or pod casting area. In my case, I use it for 2 way communications in my radio room. The audio quality from this mic rivals the more expensive brands & models out there that are designed for the human voice. I have several different mics available, but this one is my go-to mic of choice! The price won't break the bank, but the quality audio says it's right up there with the high end mics. The red LED's set it apart, and really catch your eye. Overall, it is a genuine pleasure to own and use this mic.

This is one of the few places that I can purchase this windscreen. I have three of these to go with two MXL 990s and one MXL 990 Stereo Microphone. I use these in a live situations for shows and they are great mics for vocals and acoustic instruments with no direct boxes very natural sound that the artist love. Good Clarity better sight lines than a pop filter. Using this Windscreen allows the artists to work the microphones, great for 4 part vocal harmonies. Works well on Guitar Amps too. Good high SPL Level with no distortion. I bought this pop filter to go with my MXL 870 condenser mic and It works perfectly. Fits the mic nicely and functions as a pop filter should. The construction seems quite solid as well. Very happy with the buy.
