My Charge Portable Battery Pack

It is a little expensive to own a portable battery pack for my Amaran light kit

Why not have another battery pack? You just never know. I charge up all my batteries and I constantly have back up for any event or photoshoot!

My camera came with a cable to charge the battery in camera. I would rather not and this works great!

I have been trying to use a brand X battery recharger and it just could not keep up the charge. My new Canon recharger is doing great.

I shot a wedding this weekend with this battery pack man was i glade i did 9 hours later it still was charge..... great battery grip

I purchased my quest 2 along with a DAS and an ankle battery pack and mount. This headset is portable yet powerful and I would fully recommend my set up for anyone getting started!!

B&H made a great recommendation to me on this one! Here is a very reasonably priced portable AC power pack that can drive up to 1000 watts of monolights. It comes with two AC outlets and the battery seems to last for a long time. I just did a 3 hour shoot, taking something like 400 images with two 300 watt-second lights operating at about 80% of full power and my battery level is still on 75%. That's pretty great if you ask me. The inverter is also very portable and weighs much less than I thought it would. I had some questions on the use of the product in the field so I called the manufacturer. They answered immediately and really know their products and are passionate about quality, too.

This battery pack is a great compliment to any portable lighting setup that utilizes speed lights. It is also a great asset to the run and gun photographer who needs consistent, reliable power to his on camera flash. I have not used the packs to exhaustion, so I cannot give you a definitive answer to how many shot you will get, but you will get a very fast recycle time and over 1000 shots per charge.

I loved the fact that this portable battery pack turns off on its own once whatever you’re charging is fully charged. Loved the texture and the built quality.

Used these in the Book Cliff backcountry in Utah on a packing trip 30 miles from any roads. I was very surprised at the reception and clarity. I was a couple miles away from others around ridges and rocks and trees yet still had clear communication. It wasn't until I was probably 3 miles away and separated by a few ridges that reception began to get "static." One excellent feature that the other high end midland radios don't have is the ability to charge with a USB and battery pack. Plugged them in each night and charged quickly with a portable battery pack. My other T299 and T295 radios that are marketed as "Outfitter" radios stay home because you can only charge them with an AC adapter - the cigarette lighter adapter won't work because they are not compatible with a 12v system. The one thing Midland can do better is to make a waterproof version because we were in snow for 3 days straight. Just had to be careful to keep out of the moisture which is inconvenient when you're doing a lot of communication.
