My Computer And Laptop Missing From Network

Setting up this printer was fairly easy and did not take very much time. The install process for the software on my computer took a little while, but it wasn't confusing. The only problem I ran into was connecting it to my internet network. I connected it directly on the printer, and although it connected, it said the signal was weak. When I tried to search for the printer through my computer, it said it couldn't be found. I had to bring my laptop downstairs and connect my computer with a USB cord and setup the network that way, and then the signal was strong and my computer identified it just fine. Not really sure why that happened, but glad it worked out in the end. Secondly, I'm so glad I can finally print something without having to bring my laptop downstairs each time. The printer is super quick, and I have not received any errors when trying to print anything. It properly shows up as the first option in my printing options. We found this laptop by chance after seeing, but missing the open-box price at another retailer. I've never done business with B&H, so was a bit skeptical since the price for the exact laptop BRAND NEW in original packaging was the same as the open-box price we saw elsewhere. My, my! We got an awesome deal with extremely FAST shipping (it arrived 2 days sooner) !! My daughter absolutely loves her new laptop!! Will definitely do business with B&H again.

I bought this switch specifically to allow me to transfer files between my computer and NAS faster. My NAS has two Gigabit network ports and my computer (running Windows 10) has one Gigabit network port. My transfer rates were a measly 35-60MB/sec. I put a 10Gb NIC in my computer and used this switch to bind two network ports the NAS was using together to establish a 2Gb port. The interface on the switch is very easy to navigate and understand. First thing I did, of course, is to change the password. Next I did the binding. I don't have a need for a VLAN where it is located but may end up buying another switch in order to seperate my security camera traffic from the computer traffic. I have options now!With files transfers, I am now getting a solid 110MB/sec transfer rates sustained. I'm hoping I can tweak this a bit more to increase it but it is far better than it was before.

I can get onto my private WiFi network now! My laptop wasn’t picking up our private WiFi network due to a virus. I got this and boom - the private network shows on my laptop! Magic!

Great for times when I want my laptop to be hardwired to the network.

Right out of the box it was evident the Epson DS-730N Network Scanner was top notch. The sleek, compact look fits right on my desktop and setup was a breeze. I installed the drivers and utility combo software, connected to my network using an ethernet cable and was ready to scan! My first scan was a simple one-page document - Can we say Quick??? In a split second a scan was completed and displayed on my computer screen. Since I was so impressed with how fast my first scan flew through the machine, I put it to the test with a larger document, fifty-nine pages were processed in 1 min and 25 seconds (yes, I did time it!), with NO JAM at all! I decided to run a stack of various business cards, no problem! I am able to save scans to a MS Office file which I then can edit, scans can be sent directly to an e-mail and directly to any computer on the network. If you need in depth instruction or need to troubleshoot, the user’s manual is online and very easy to understand and follow. The only (very small) negative is that photos can only be run through using a carrier page, however, this is clearly stated in the user’s manual. I highly rate the Epson DS-730N scanner to be a dependable, robust choice for your business or home network! I absolutely love this computer! I needed a new laptop since I'm going back to school for another two to three years. My old computer still worked great, but was about eight years old and wouldn't support Windows 11. I was originally thinking about getting a Macbook. Then I saw this computer and it was a steal, especially with the HP Student Discount. It does everything I could ever ask it to do, and more. If you can get this computer for a decent price, I would highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My laptop was running pretty slow. Did some research on what I could do without getting a new computer and found I could use a SSD to improve performance. Followed an online guide on how to clone my hard drive to it. It was decently easy for me and I'm by no means a computer guru. I'm running about 3x faster. Glad I did it.

This is definitely the solution I was searching for as my laptop was often loosing network connection.
