My Computer Keyboard Is Broken

My old computer had a problem that apparently no one could fix, so... I got a new one. So far my only problem is that I forgot to check the storage capacity and ended up with a smaller capacity that I had. So could not store some of my data there. Otherwise, I am very happy with my new computer without any stupid problems. I am finally getting used to the new keyboard. I had the same keyboard on my last 3 computers.

THIS IS MY SECOND IDENTICAL KEYBOARD WORKS AS GOOD AS THE OTHER ONE IN MY OTHER COMPUTER

My office is in the basement but there are a few windows (the windows face north and are at least 20 ft away from my computer). I've had the keyboard for a few weeks and it has stayed charged mainly from the overhead lights. This keyboard has an excellent feel to it and having a separate numerical pad makes it a great replacement for the Apple keyboard that came with my iMac.

My working computer is a MacBook Pro 13 2017 4-port. I am learning video editing and needed more screen real estate.  After researching prices for quality 4k monitor prices for my laptop, this iMac was only a few hundred $ more, and you have a new computer to boot.  This machine is blazingly fast compared to my MacBook, and verified when checked with geekbench's free version, which is to be expected with a newer machine, and the screen is beautiful.  My only complaint is with Apple not making the wireless keyboard with the same size keys and spacing as a MacBook. Going back and fourth between machines, as I do in my daily workflow, I find my fingers overshoot on the smaller wireless keyboard. The new Trackpad has some of the same feel issues as well. My last G703 was broken so I am buying a new one. Works fine.

This is the second Zagg Case/Keyboard I have owned. It’s the only keyboard that I have found that allows me to type as I would on a full sized computer keyboard.

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

As I just had a broken computer that I had not purchased this for and was left to pay the price, I say simply but alll seriousness... BUY THIS!

Not the cheapest keyboard but for someone with two broken elbows to continue working it is amazing. Solid and smooth keystrokes makes for a very nice flexible setup.
