My Corsair Headset Mic Makes Static Noise

It’s a great headset! Comfortable around my ears, very soft, cancels most noise and the mic works great on all my games.

Allowed me to use my headset with mic.

It blocks out the noise so you can hear all the different audio in the headset.

My audio mix has two inputs XLR mic and 1/4” Instr. The two inputs come in on separate channels and the headSet jack monitored the mic only. Must improved performance using this adapter and I can now hear what’s being recorded. Use the XLR input for audio mic on your mixer.

My stand holds my mic, iPad, and my Aviom headset mixer. It has gotten top heavy as I added gear. Now that I have a saddle bag on the base, no more tipping! Yay!! Simple solution and happy musician!

My kid wanted a better mic to use while gaming on his p.c. and didn't want a headset mic. He freaked out when I got him this. It improved his online interactions. With the mic volume and headphone volume plus output right on the mic I felt like we could not go wrong for the money. It came with a stand but we mounted it on a boom arm so it wouldn't be on the desktop and pick up any sympathetic vibrations. All in all, it exceeded expectations.

My Scott heritage argued for economy, so I took a chance on the Snowball. Talk about Bang for your Buck! Instead of sounding like a robot from a bad 50's sci-fi, my customers can now enjoy my rich baritone. I am re-recording earlier WBTs to bring up the production value several notches. And I have started using speech recognition software for dictation, something the headset mic just couldn't handle. My Snowball saved the day at a recent class. It was a live class, but one student needed to attend remotely. The instructor couldn't use a headset as she needed mobility across the front of the room. I plugged in the Snowball, and she could be heard loud and crystal clear from any point in the presentation area. The only negative comments I've read complain that the tripod is too small and the 6' USB cord is to short. Hogwash! These included accessories are perfect for 95% of users. The Snowball mounts to a standard tripod screw. Need a sturdier base? Go get one! Need a longer cord? It's standard! Go get one! And if you screw in the tripod and turn it sideways, it kinda looks like Sputnik. So, a Must Have for space geeks!

I do interviews and podcasting. I am very fussy about audio quality. It is very convenient to have the mic on the headset. My larger broadcast mics seem to always be in my field of view of copy or computer monitor. The quality is great and your distance from the mic never changes, ensuring constant levals.
