My Monitor Has White Screen No Display

I've had this monitor for a year. I work full-time as an editor (90% in Premiere). Having 2160 pixels of vertical real estate is very important in my workflow, and it's hard to find in an ultra wide monitor. Replacing my dual 28 4k panels with this one was a bigger upgrade than I thought it would be. So nice to have no bezel in front of me. Colors are accurate enough for editing and preliminary/rough color work. I haven't had any connectivity issues with my computer going to sleep or not recognizing the display. Everything looks sharp, and the variable refresh up to 72Hz enough for what I need. I'm on a Mac Studio M1 Max, with a mini DisplayPort to full size DisplayPort cable running straight into the panel - not through any thunderbolt hubs or breakout boxes. I have found using Thunderbolt to carry the display signal to be occasionally glitchy over the years, so I have abandoned it to keep things simple and (hopefully) reliable. One caution that others have mentioned: If you are in a VERY bright room, you'll need a brighter screen. My office has lots of windows, white walls, and white cabinets. On a cloudy day, I can work with all the shades open. On a sunny day, I need to lower 1 or 2 of the shades. To me, the brightness is reasonable and the anti glare matte screen is as good as I expect paying this much for a monitor. 5 |

I purchased this monitor on the deal zone. I use it with a laptop. It's very well constructed and just the right size for me. The display screen is very good. It does not have a touchscreen, however excellent monitor for those of us who are not needing a touchscreen. I would highly recommend this monitor. 5 |

I bought this monitor as a second display for a 27 Intel iMac. After 2 1/2 years I'm still very happy with it. Pros: it works great and looks wonderful. If you're getting this the built-in stand is probably a decision factor, and I can report that it is excellent. I have it mounted on the provided clamp (quite secure) in the corner of my 60 adjustable-height desk, and with the arm extended it sits right next to my centered iMac screen at a very comfortable angle. I've dreaded height adjustments on monitor arms before, but this one slides up and down smoothly like a breeze. It still holds firm after 2 years but is easy to move with a comfortable pressure. And the 90 degree rotation has been useful for viewing long documents. (Height adjustability comes in handy there, too!) As for the screen itself: P3 color and HDR are great. 60Hz refresh is fine for my purposes (coding, business apps, and some design work). The USB-C connection works flawlessly most of the time. The matte finish is nice and nicely mutes reflections from the window behind me. I wish it was a bit brighter to match the iMac, but it's a small inconvenience on bright days. It also doesn't work with macOS's brightness controls — you have to manually change brightness using the button on the bottom of the monitor (pretty easy to do, and I rarely have to touch it). It is a 4K monitor, so at 27 it doesn't have quite the same UI crispness of the iMac's 5K display. Set your expectations accordingly. However, I've set its resolution to 2560x1440, the same as my iMac screen so the scale is the same on both, and the difference is very minor. If you want more space at the expense of a smaller UI, 3200x1800 also works on both the LG and 27 iMac and looks great. 5 |

This monitor is exactly what I needed in my graphic design work. Text is clear, colors are accurate and there is plenty of screen real estate for using programs like InDesign and Lightroom. For the last few years I've been trying to do design work on my MacBook Pro, built-in display. I'm so glad I finally bought an external display--it has made my workflow so much more efficient. Originally, I ordered the 2K BenQ270c but for some unknown reason (to BenQ and all others I asked) the text was terribly jagged and vector graphics in Illustrator were pixelated. If knew I kept that monitor I was going to have some major eye-strain and would have difficulty doing my job. How can I work with text if everything looks wrong? Did I get a lemon, have a MacBook Pro issue, or was 2K just not enough pixels--I'll never know! Thanks to the great customer service from B&H I was able to return the BenQ and buy the ViewSonic 2785-4K instead, which made all the difference. I had read that 4K monitors caused menu items to be too small to read, and that the extra pixels were unnecessary but that is not the case for me at all. I plugged in the USB-C cable and it immediately displayed at a perfect screen resolution for comfortable reading. My advice to graphic designers is to get a 4K monitor. Your eyes will thank you. I definitely recommend this ViewSonic 2785 4K if color accuracy is important to your job. The Adobe RGB space is perfect for the print work I do. I love this monitor for photo-editing, creating vector artwork and for layout/text work. Some reviewers mentioned that the documentation that comes in the box is not easy to understand, but I found a nice manual online that explained everything in sufficient detail. There are a lot of optional settings on this monitor which I find is a great plus. I wish I had bought this sooner! 5 |

This is a big monitor for a working Display. The 4K on it is bright and Awesome! I especially like the side controls which are more screen labeled than most. Viewsonic is a name I had in the past and I am glad to see they are making a great 31.5 4K HDR for $400. This was my first purchase with B&H and with the Free Shipping I will be back! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is 32 inch 4K UHD VA panel. It display the images in more vibrant colors, Thanks to HDR10 and the refresh rate is 5 ms and that helps to display flicker free screen. The Advanced Eye care also kept my eyes less stressed even after working and looking at the monitor for long time. The USB-C connection makes it easy to connect all my devices. The HDMI also supports 4K and 60 Hz which is the maximum resolution of the screen. The Monitor stand can be adjusted in either vertical or horizontal. I have been playing some Videos and Games in the monitor, It's been working nicely. The controls are located in a hidden place and Bazel looks beautiful. The maximum brightness is 350 nits / cd/m2 that helps to place the monitor in a well lighted up room too. The Picture In Picture also great feature. 5 |

The display is beautiful, of course. And the very narrow frame around the screen gives it a sleek look and makes the display seem even larger than 24. But the really cool thing about this monitor is the base. The monitor swivels SO easily - no more scooting a heavy base this way or that (and scratching your tabletop) to turn the monitor to the left or right. And it tilts smoothly up and down, too, with a very light touch. A really nice design all the way around. 5 |
