My Samsung TV was very slow to load catalogs and wouldn't always load an app. It was very frustrating, but the Roku Streaming Stick + solved that problem. 5 |

My 2011 MBP was really slow to start up with the old hard drive and I would never turn it off because it would take minutes to start up and even once I was logged in I had to wait to open any programs. It would be extremely slow to load pages online for several minutes as well. Now it starts right up and I can open programs immediately upon logging in and get full responsiveness. It is so much better and I saved thousands by not upgrading my laptop. It was a great value and I was able to double my original storage space for under $100, which was great because my drive was starting to fill up. If you are thinking about upgrading to an SSD to extend the life of your older MacBook I would highly recommend it and you can save yourself a lot of money by avoiding buying a new laptop. I have had the drive in for almost a year now and the computer has been running great ever since I replaced it. 5 |

My old laptop had gotten very slow, taking forever to boot into Ubuntu 19.04. I figured it would get worse with 20.04, so I sprung for a replacement to the original 160GB spinning drive. This did the trick - the old Lenovo now seems almost zippy. 5 |

Did some research on what I could do without getting a new computer and found I could use a SSD to improve performance. Followed an online guide on how to clone my hard drive to it. It was decently easy for me and I'm by no means a computer guru. I'm running about 3x faster. Glad I did it. 5 |

My laptop had a 2TB Samsung EVO 970 plus system drive and I bought this WD black to put in a USB enclosure. But before I did, I ran Crystal Disk Mark on the Samsung, cloned the system to this drive and ran it again on this drive. My laptop is only PCI 3 so I wasn't expecting the stated performance, and no surprise it didn't make those numbers. But it did perform a little better than the Samsung and ran a bit cooler also. So I kept this WD black as the system drive and wiped the Samsung and put that one in the USB enclosure. Now it's a few weeks later and so far so good. 5 |

Bought one for my wife and myself. My wife's XP system hardrive was 75% full. Very slow at all tasks. With the WD external hardrive downloads, her computer is fast again. Great way to back up our computers/photograghs and transfer files between our XP and Windows7. 5 |
