Narrow Depth Built In Microwave

I like how it can be regenerated using a microwave oven.

I have used this lens for landscape and closeup photos. Closeup very narrow/shallow depth @f/4 and great bokeh is an added greatness. For landscape great clarity out far and in close manual focus out to 3/4 way very easy on the A7s with aperture selection f/4-22 for great depth clarity.

I got this lens at the end of May. Initially I played around with it did not have much success. Needless to say it has an extremely narrow depth of field. A few days ago, July 5, I went out with the lens mounted on my Fuji X-T3. Suddenly, success. I had a 49 keepers and about ten or so into the trash. What I did was focus very carefully. If you are using the lens wide open, you should not breathe. Yes, it does cost slightly more than twice as much as the TTArtisan 50mm f1.2 and does handle quite as well. Nevertheless, I like it very much and will keep it and use it.

Nicely made. I've come to like the more flexible fabric on these vs the heavy canvas versions. This is just a bit narrow in depth from what I was expecting and since receiving it, have changed my intended use for it. I am now using it for a Contax G system, 2 bodies, 3 lenses along with the large 360 flash and the other trivials one brings along and it just barely handles the chore. Seems like a lifetime bag (but then again, I'm pretty old!).

The Zeiss 135 mm is outstanding, very sharp on my Sony a7R3 it does have a very narrow depth of field at closer focusing distancing from camera .but does the job i wanted for portraiture. It is definitely a great light gathering lens even at night.

Helps with keeping the shutter speed down when shooting full open for those narrow depth of field shots. Took the best part of 3 months to order.

In spite of the very narrow depth of field, the images come out quite sharp (and really large!). Overall, this tool provides a tremendous amount of fun on a variety of lenses at a small cost I think that I'll go and buy a DCR-150 just to double my pleasure.

My first experience with a portrait lens and I’m hooked! It takes some getting used to using the narrow depth of field but the results are fantastic. Sharp, fast and beautiful bokeh.

I bought this to use on my Fujifilm X-T1 (which doesn't support HSS) so I could do outdoor portraits with a very narrow depth of field. Works great!

I love this lens. I use it on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6K and also Canon 5D Mk4. It's great for macro and long-distance shooting. The bokeh looks cool and the lens has some character to it. I've had some good success filming stock footage of animals, sky (moon), insects, objects and scenes as well as doing sports photography with it (baseball). Other sports that don't have fixed positions would be more challenging because of the narrow depth of field. Pros: -Very long reach. -Very lightweight compared to other lenses in it's focal length. -Very small compared to other lenses in its focal length. -Affordable -Less common bokeh shape Cons: -Aperture fixed at f8 -Very delicate focus control -Very narrow depth of field -Fully manual -Must use a tripod (no stabilization)
